Welcome to the Kanzlersgrund Group House—your secluded retreat in a completely private location in the heart of the Thuringian Forest. The house accommodates 23 to 25 guests and is ideal for families, friends, retreats, clubs, or teams. You’ll enjoy five separate living units, three common areas, a sauna, a fire pit, a private natural pond, and hiking and cross-country ski trails right on your doorstep. Oberhof and many recreational opportunities are just a few minutes away. Here, time spent together turns into special memories.

At the Kanzlersgrund Group House, you’ll have the entire property exclusively for your group. For groups of 25 to 35 people, the separate vacation home can be booked as well—if it’s available. Just ask us! That way, you’ll have the entire property all to yourselves.

The combination of 5 separate, comfortable living units and 3 spacious common areas creates the ideal balance between shared experiences and opportunities for personal retreat. Our secluded location and spacious group rooms also make it the perfect spot for celebrations; when the weather is nice, you’re welcome to enjoy the natural garden with its own pond and mountain stream.
