”My first impression was how clean the place was. We were a total of 5 people and felt there was plenty of room for all of us to feel comfortable. In the room with the open windows, the surmise was beautiful but a sleep mask definitely helps if you don’t want to wake up when the sun comes up!”

”Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration.”

”The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice. It is beautiful here. The view from the porch is absolutely amazing. Location is close to anything you need. We kayaked nearby, hiked, ziplined, and fished every night. My kids even braved the dark to try some catfishing! They are HUGE and plentiful from the fishing area! You feel very secluded there. We even saw the Milky Way! We grilled, watched movies and just had a wonderful time!”

”We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Falling Leaf Cabin and had so much fun! We had meals at The Chop House Bistro, Dsrk Horse Irish Gastro Pub, West Main Market Beer and Wine Garden, Gathering Grounds Cafe and Glen Gordon Manor - all were fantastic! We loved the back deck and were often relaxing and reading our books out there. The hot tub was the best - seeing the fireflies at night in the yard was special. The beds were comfortable and Andrea was available for any questions we had....

”The Chalet was truly a perfect weekend getaway! We stayed two nights with our dog, Meeko, who had the time of his life exploring. The Chalet was beautiful, clean, and private. We enjoyed a trip to the caverns which was very convenient and spent the rest of the time at the cabin. There were board games which we played endlessly and the firepit was awesome. We roasted hot dogs and smores and enjoyed the outdoor space. The hot tub was clean and the relaxing. The views were just magical. A 10/10...

”It was clean. It had a beautiful drive to it and it was tucked up in the woods. It would be nice if there was curtains, but that is OK. You are surrounded by trees. Enjoyed our visit. Has a very cute town nearby. Wasn’t in the house very much was enjoying all the scenery.”

”The views of the Shenandoah River were incredible! Good A/C (especially in 90F) and nicely maintained home. Have to put your own linens on but no big deal. The hike down to the river for fishing can be tricky, and there's not much room to stand down there. We ended up wading in. ”

”Our stay at Bala’s home was wonderful. The location right on the river is perfect for a relaxing getaway. A very close drive to the National Park and Front Royal. The home is updated nicely and amenities are well stocked, above average kitchen supplies from the typical vacation rental. Do note that there are no tvs in the bedrooms which we appreciated but some may not. Overall it was great. ”
