”Extremely clean rooms, helpful staff. The restaurant is truly amazing. We arrived on the Blue Train and stayed 3 nights on the way to Victoria Falls. The driver said most guests arrive or deposit by the Blue Train or Rovos Rail and spend only 1 night. What a pity! The hotel is such a wonderful experience in itself. ”Shouldn't be termed luxury. It's like the Donald Trump of hotels, say it and it's so. Air conditioning was not working. I don't term a queen bed as luxury, especially not one that moves everytime one of us moves. ”I made plans to arrive a day early for my scheduled safari tour which was gathering to begin our journey at this hotel. I reserved an extra night and was very happy with the hotel facilities. ”The location is in a junction and with big construction site next to it. Ask for a room in the higher floors. Ours was on the 1st floor and the smell from the next door gym was bad. Noise and dust from the construction. Breakfast and food in the restaurant was good and wifi worked ok, so the hotel is ok if you're on transit for 1 night. I wouldn't recommend for longer stays or if you're on holiday or romantic trip.”
