”The house is lovely -old, but nice. Unfortunately the TV in one bedroom did not work and did not get response when inquiring with host. Pet friendly -and listed with “dog park” but doesn’t clarify that the dog park is across the busy road at the motel property. Needed to reach an extension cord under bed and realized it was quite dusty/hair where a quick swifter wipe would have been appreciated. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others…just should be clearer about...

”We loved our stay. The house was perfectly located, a short 9 min drive to downtown Bar Harbor and no greater than a 15 min drive to the hiking we did. The property is plenty spacious and comfortable. We went the first week of November but were never cold as the house had a heating unit and multiple space heaters if you needed extra sources of warmth. Our dog (Mini Aussie) loved the front deck and had plenty of space within the house to spread out. We'd love to come back and highly recommend...

”The overall space is definitely rustic. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast we had was tasty. Lots of parking for the most part, except at dinner time when the restaurant is open. The one issue we had was we stayed in the carriage house. Which you cannot lock the main door too which is fine if the front desk tells you that.
