Waterfront Home Chesapeakenlahdella laiturilla

Kaunis ranta kotiin lomakeskusympäristössä vain yhden tunnin päässä DC ja Baltimore. Sisältää nopeat wifi-internetyhteydet ja upeat auringonlaskun / auringonnousun näkymät takapihan lahden horisontista. Sunroom ja makuuhuone on valoisa ja iso lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat. Takaisin kalastukseen ja sivuttain etenemiseen on pitkä kalastusretki. Tilavissa huoneissa on runsaasti viihdyttävä tilaa jopa 12 hengelle. Ylempi ja alempi patioalue sopii erinomaisesti grillijuhlaan, ja jakaa muutaman kylmiä juomia iltapalojen ja auringonottoa ympäröimänä. No Hot Tub Despite advertising so / great views

Great views and location Property listing advertised that there was a hot tub on the property- however when we arrived there was no hot tub available. Owners were not willing to provide a small refund to compensate for this false advertisement

Gorgeous and immaculate home

We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront house. The view and proximity to the water are outstanding, the yard is beautifully maintained, and the home is well-appointed and sparkling clean. The owner was super responsive to my questions about the property and area. We could not have asked for a more perfect house and location for a family get-together. I highly, highly recommend this lovely house!

Great location for a getaway

This is our second time here and enjoyed it more than the first time, since it was still going through some renovations. It did rain most of the weekend but we tried to fish on the pier as much as we could. House was very well stocked and had plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for all to use. It's not too far away from home, but just far enough for a getaway. It's also close to grocery stores and restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. I highly recommend this place to all !!

Wedding weekend

We were looking for a house for a wedding on Kent Island and we struggled to find a house with beds for adult couples. A lot of house slept a lot but most had single beds. This house was perfect! And had 7 queen beds in 4 bedrooms. The house was spotless. The layout great with a large kitchen, enclosed sunroom, huge deck and on the water. Jim was a great host. I also loved that they stocked toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, and paper towels to name a few. Too many VRBOs we have stayed at skimp on this leaving us making store trips right when we get there. We will definitely be staying there again!!

Nice house and location, quite hot when we arrived

Excellent location, nice house, clean, good communication with hosts. Only gripe is that the house was 87 degrees F when we arrived with the AC turned off and it took 6 hours to cool down. This made things tricky with our infant who needed to nap. Otherwise good stay.

Kent Island Perfection!

Gorgeous home, immaculate, spectacular views, comfortable, very well equipped, with all the amenities (a commercial-grade coffee maker!) It was a perfect setting for family and friends to sit around the cozy fire pit or out on the dock & enjoy watching the sun set over the Chesapeake Bay. We can’t wait to return!!

Fantastic Location to Celebrate with family

We stayed at Jimmy's home on the Bay while attending our daughter's wedding at the nearby venue. We had some family gatherings there- letting the partiers enjoy the nearby bars but the huge kitchen and open areas, especially the patio and back yard with the dock were just perfect for enjoying locally catered food and a few toasts! The place was so well equipped, beyond what I have seen at other VRBOs, the beds comfortable, good quality linen and a very effective climate control system. We used both heat and AC because of the weather! The bathrooms are new and very nice despite a couple of minor issues. There is an extra fridge which was helpful as well. The rooms are spacious and minimally furnished but suitcase racks and garment hangers did the job. It gave us room to set up the baby stuff we had brought. The area is great for places to eat and drink and grocery shop. All in all it was a great place to enjoy with family!

Excellent place to stay

The house is in a quiet location overlooking the Chesapeake Bay and provided everything we needed for wonderful evenings at the fire pit and relaxation on the sunny deck in the morning. Beautiful house with every comfort provided.

Incredible house, loved it!

The house and property was more beautiful than described and very clean and well stocked. It's clearly been taken care of. The area is beautiful and close to shopping centers and activities. Our group loved the trip and would love to visit again!

Beautiful venue on the river

My kids (both younger than 10) really loved staying here, especially seeing the beautiful sunsets on the river. The rooms were really great, especially the master bedroom that has a gorgeous view. The neighborhood was pleasant, and it's a short hop over the Annapolis. Only (minor) nit is that the electronic lock on the door is rather confusing at first, only showing you two digits at first. These are sort of like a "slide to unlock", and once you hit those two digits, it shows the rest of the keypad. Everything else was really great, would highly recommend it to you!

Best vacation rental we've stayed in

I HIGHLY recommend this house. It was spotless and had space for everyone. The kitchen is huge and well-equipped, there's plenty of space to hang out and lounge, the beds are extremely comfortable. Fishing off the dock was great. The views are beautiful, so many birds, and so peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet, and the greenbelt pathway is at the end of the street which was great for walks/runs. We were in town for a family wedding, and we have four teenagers, so it makes more sense for us to rent a house than get a bunch of hotel rooms. We felt so lucky to be able to make our own meals and eat with such a gorgeous view, plus the house had everything we needed, from a washer/dryer to an iron to hairdryers, to shampoo/conditioner, so we could get ready for the wedding and not worry about having to bring things down on the plane. The grocery store and Target are about 12 minutes away, so it was easy to stock up on food or anything we forgot. The check in process and communication were great.
