”I enjoyed my stay at Montfair. I loved having my own little cabin on the lake so much I extended my stay. I took time to walk the property and get out into the woods. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great property! 10+ Stars!”

”This is a new property that opened in the spring of 2025. It still had the shine of newness. It has very basic decor and limited amenities, this is by the brands design. We chose based on value and pet friendliness. All in, it was at least $100 less expensive (and for many properties the delta was much greater) than other options. We were in Charlottesville for a UVA football game and many hotels were priced accordingly. We chose value over other amenities, especially since we were not on...
”Our room was exceptionally clean, working AC and window dressings that worked!!! Breakfast was small room but the food was good, hot and well made. The breakfast attendant was cheerful, smiling and very attentive. We spend a great deal of time in Charlottesville as my husband is a patient at UVA and we are required to be there several times a month. We have tried many of the hotels in the area and find this one to be among the best for the price.”
”Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Room was huge and quiet. Breakfast was satisfactory. The only downside was the cleaning - a previous customer had hidden empty alcohol bottles in the room's cabinets that were left there for us to find - that made me feel a bit uneasy. But in all a good visit regardless.”
