”Lovely place, well looked after. Really good evening meal in the restaurant and continental breakfast included. Nice room and bathroom. Only minor point was that the blind wasn’t very good at keeping light out in the morning ”

”The Prince Consort is a nice local pub which also has rooms for bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, which included very good quality bacon and sausages and all the usual ingredients. The coffee was especially delicious. I was visiting for a family funeral which was catered for there too. The buffet for the wake was also very good.”

”Wir haben das Hotel extra gebucht, weil es auch ein Restaurant hat. Leider schloss dies schon um 16:00, so dass es nicht möglich war dort das Abendessen einzunehmen. Wir mussten dann mit dem Auto nach Salisbury (10 Minuten) fahren, da das Hotel nicht zentral liegt. Beim Buchen war das nicht ersichtlich. Die jungen Frauen im Hotel waren sehr nett, aber der Besitzer ungehalten und unfreundlich. Das Zimmer war herzig. Der Temperaturregler der Dusche funktionierte aber nicht und wir duschten kalt....

”It was a great stop for us in our walk in the area . Staff very kind and friendly , food tasty (we had the homemade curry ) . Drinks were also good we had a draught beer and cider. It’s lovely to find people taking on a business and improving it . We didn’t use it but there is a large car park and garden at the rear ”

”The Fox was a lovely place to stay while visiting family. The meal that we had on the first night was extremely good, and we had been told that the breakfast was going to be just as good. Unfortunately this was not the case. My husband had the full English, but the black sausage was so dried out that when he put his fork in it it broke into tiny pieces (inedible). The bacon wasn't much better. The hash brown and the mushrooms were ok. However, he was asked how he would like his egg, which...

”Fabulous hosts and wonderful breakfast. Spotlessly clean throughout - slightly noisy traffic at rush hour, but so quiet at night. ”

”Lovely room, comfortable bed, huge TV. Ensuite bathroom was okay, could have done with some handsoap at basin. Greeting by owner was professional. Given advice on where to eat for the evening (I chose the pub within 15 min walk). Improvement would be to post a picture of the front of the house on the listing, as I drove up the street twice before I found it.”
