”Lovely location with babbling brook next to the home. Everything was well stocked with nice amenities. Memory foam mattress was the most comfortable I slept on. Well maintained dirt road for about a mile or so to get there. All & all, excellent place to stay. ”

”Overall it was fabulous. The accommodations were perfect. The house was well equipped with the essentials you might need. The guest book was extremely helpful. The tool cabin had snow shoes available and summer items for those months. We did not use the hot tub due to time but did look at it and it was well kept and clean. They provided maps of hiking areas around us. It is a great location for large ski resorts and close to Ludlow for night life. We will be back! Thank you! ”

”The Shire is in a wonderful location and I would recommend for a short stay. They are in the midst of a renovation and the rooms and exterior are nice and well kept. My only issue was that the coffee bars were not well stocked all the time with the same variety and the ice machine was not well stocked as it ran out of water to produce ice during our 2 night stay. Otherwise, the place and location is wonderful.”
