”We needed a room for one night and very little was available in the area - we were pleasantly surprised by the large, clean room with microwave and fridge, 2 large mattresses and plenty of storage space. Beds were OK, the place was not beautiful but practical, and check-in guy was helpful. Nice location, easy access to Foxwoods, Stonington and Mystic. Saved us a lot of money, very well worth the price.”

”Beautiful grounds, outdoor seating with a water fountain, and fenced in yard, perfect for our dogs. Inside was larger than expected, very clean and everything we needed. Only down fall would be the comfort of the furniture. The chairs were very comfy but the couch and bed we found we hard, and the pillows were very thick, it bothered our neck. Other than that we would love to go back there again soon when we could stay longer.”

”Everything was perfect from the first communication to the surprise piece of apple pie upon arrival. The room was cozy, comfortable and had every amenity, even bowls for my pet and a play-ball. It was truly a joy to stay at the Carriage House.”

”Very easy to reach host if anything needed. She left 2 delicious slices of pie for us on our arrival. A wonderful and unexpected treat. The apartment is well furnished, quiet and well located. It is on the second floor, so it is necessary to climb a flight of stairs to reach it. It is an old house, so the flight of stairs may be a bit steep for some, and the lighting is low during the evening hours. Just use your flashlight on your phone if you need help. We enjoyed our stay very much and...
