”Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day. The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides. Rooms vary a bit and there are some that do not have a water view. The Angelique is an end unit which is nice and I would assume keeps noises to a minimum (althought...

”We were looking for a real working lobster harbor experience. This is the place. Everything was as we expected. The staff is great and very responsive. We had a small issue that was immediately resolved. The nearby restaurants are very good. So, just sit back on the provided rocking chairs and enjoy. ”

”This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!”
