Stony Creek Hotellit

”Friendly and helpful staff”

”We love this place, it’s been our yearly pilgrimage for the last 5 years.”

”Rude uncaring owners pre occupied on their phones,”

”2 bed cabin clean, stove & microwave, air con, small heater, plenty of crockery, saucepans, cutlery, cups and glasses. Iron and ironing board, broom and dustpan. Shower hot, hair dryer. Plenty of parking would fit 2 cars at 2 bed cabin”

”All good”

”Great place and awesome hosts”

”Having lived on a similar rural acreage for close to 40 years we had some idea of what to expect. This stay far exceeded our expectations, a stay of only two days. Upon arrival instantly approached by the host, Robbie, a most charming and obliging host. There is nothing that is not supplied in the way of food, beverages and household amenities. To arrive there is as much as arriving at home. Top marks for Robbie's hospitality. 5 stars!”

”Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom nicely appointed. I found the smell of ? Disinfectant overwhelming and unpleasant. Otherwise all good.”

”Perfect place if you like good quality australian pub hotels”

”Erittäin positiivinen kokemus. Yksi parhaista motelleista missä olen koskaan ollut, kaikki tarpeelinen löytyi ja huone oli poikkeuksellien siisti. Gulgong on sellainen rauhallinen paikka, johon jokaisen pitäisi joskus eksyä.”

”My room was a curious mix - mostly good, with just a little bad... not enough to spoil my stay. The bed was big, clean and reasonably comfy. There was everything you might need to feed yourself - fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee, washing-up liquid etc. It was nice to have a bath and shower and - as I was on the ground floor - my own parking spot. The small outdoor swimming pool was a bit cold but I dipped my toes in all the same! The pool had a couple of comfy loungers next...

”Third stay there and still a fantastic experience.”

”A beautifully renovated motel with clean, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Nice big grass area out the back for the kids to run around and play. Parking out the front of the room. I wish we had nicer weather so we could have had a swim in the pool!”

”Highly recommend”

”The cottage was nice looking but was freezing inside. We had to run the air conditioner on 30 for the whole 2 days we were there to even get the room to feel semi warm. Bathroom was also very cold. Could have done with a heater in the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and food at the pub was delicious.”

”Lovely roomy apartment full of nice touches. Well appointed kitchen and a useful little outdoor area. All the furniture and fittings were as new. Location wise it’s a few kilometers from restaurants and bars, but by no means is it out of the way. We had a bit of an issue with a noisy fridge while staying there, but the owner was very responsive and no doubt it will be repaired by now.”
