Amazing loft apartment!
This building was the original Bunbury Rd schoolhouse in the 1800s and has been beautifully renovated. High ceilings, lots of light, large bathroom and a private 2nd story deck give this studio a spacious feel. Water views of the Hillsborough River and beautiful sunrises and sunsets!
The 4 acre property is down a long laneway and provides a peaceful escape while being just minutes from downtown Charlottetown.
*Please note we live on this property, refer to the photos to see distance of loft (barn-type building) from our main house.
Your entrance, patio and 2nd story deck face away from the main house, adding to your privacy.
The area below you is a workshop/storage space that is completely separate from your apartment. Will will occasionally enter the workshop to get garden tools or our bikes.

This studio apartment is best suited to 2 guests, however, given there is a pull out couch it could accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Please inquire about this if interested.

    Wonderful place to stay, quiet and peaceful (great views of surrounding farm lands and properties) yet only a few minutes from shopping and Charlottetown. Unit arranged to make the most use of the space, very clean and orderly. Appreciated having a washer in the kitchen and items dried quickly on clothesline or drying rack.     The loft was exactly as described. It was the perfect home away from home while we explored the island. The nearby Duff beach is a quiet local spot you should take advantage of if you want to relax on a beach one evening.

    Excellent stay

    Wonderful hosts who made the entire process very streamlined. Location is ideal, amenities of downtown are very close but you have the added privacy and quiet of a rural community. Would highly recommend.

    Amazing spot!

    This little loft was truly an amazing space! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very quiet but close to town for great restaurants and central for all of our sight seeing. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away and a fridge and dishes for all our breakfast and snacks. We highly recommend staying here!

    This is an excellent property to rent as a base for touring PEI and is less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Charlottetown. The loft is spacious for two people, clean, bright and is well outfitted; deck off the sitting room is a plus. Highly recommended !

    We had the loveliest stay!

    We couldn’t be more happy with our pick! Heather’s barn style loft is so picturesque and peaceful. It was exactly what we needed. Clean, cozy and quiet. The location was also perfect - everything in terms of restaurants/drinks was a 7 minute drive. So close and convenient! Heather also gave us amazing recommendations for both food/drinks and beaches which we were grateful for. Very responsive host and will definitely book again in the future. Thanks for a great vacay!

    LOVELY BARN LOFT

    Listing looked interesting online and didn’t disappoint in person. Modern interior was well thought out and included everything to make our stay comfortable. Hosts very helpful before arrival and during our time there. Pretty restful location with a large deck overlooking green fields. Six minute drive into Charlottetown. We would fully recommend!
