”Great hospitality and a grand breakfast.”

”Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good.”

”Tudor Lodge was a disaster as it was not open at all. We had made a reservation at least one month earlier via internet, but after driving several hundred kilometers we arrived to Tudor Lodge around 7.p.m. just to find out, that the place was closed down. A man opened the door and said that someone had passed away and that they wouldn't admit any guests. Nobody bothered to call us and inform about the situation. Thank you very much, hotels.com and Tudor Lodge - because of this we had to find...

”The guesthouse is nice enough but the staff were standoffish to begin with. There was an unexpected extra charge for my dog to stay. They had their large dogs roaming freely, which was intimidating to nervous dogs on leads. The shower in our room was old and complicated to use. I forgot an expensive orthopaedic pillow at the guesthouse and requested it to be sent to me. The owner assured me he had it, charged me €35 and sent an old battered cushion with no cover at a cost of €9. Overall the stay...

”There was no receptionist. Someone from the bar came out. The buffet, you walk in, someone's said sit anywhere by the window, that was it..... I didn't know if we could order food or if it was just a buffet and the buffet was not easy to see. There were two employees working that just kept walking by me before I figured it out. Not friendly at all. The only reason I stayed here was the location, would not stay here again. Room was very small and if you have luggage hard to get into the room....

”Safe and clean. Eclectic feel. Docked Two points because the doors and walls are paperthin. Can hear everything. I also ended up in disabled room which I didn't book. Also no "reception." If you need help after hours on a holiday think again ”

”Room furniture very dated and not in very good condition. Limited menu in restaurant Soup Indian curry or sandwich Sandwich one thin slice of ham slice of cheese and about six pieces of onion For a four star Hotel this is totally unacceptable Had to find another restaurant for our second night.”
