”Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! Delicious, and freshly brewed coffee too. There is also off road car parking. It’s a fifteen minute stroll into town, bringing...

”The golf course and range were beautiful. The rooms were very well maintained with a nice view - provisioned with irons and ironing table. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The service was good. The common areas (lounges) inside, although clean, could have been more aesthetically pleasing. The outside seating was nice to use. The property was just a few minutes away by car from the main tourist attractions. Overall - a very good experience.”

”Hotel and staff were really good as normal but I was in a second floor room that was very warm and the addition of 2 fans to bedroom did not help cool it and in fact made it difficult to sleep. Still like the hotel, just not that room!”

The room carpet had stains and burns, the light fittings were hanging out of their sockets. Wall sockets were fitted uneven. The tv remote back casing was missing. There was no bin. The curtains need to be blackout as the outside light shone through. There was a squashed bug on the ceiling. The pillows had no filling. ”
