”The Caravan is in a good location, in an easy walk to town. Yes, it has a view of the driveway, as in the photos, but you can also see the bay and mountains beyond. The heating is excellent, the beds are comfy and we felt very good here. The kitchen is reasonably well-equiped and is a bonus, as there are few good restaurant options near by. (Do drive up to Pizza in the Skye near Portree; a truck but outstanding pizza). Ideal for two, perhaps four would be a bit of a squeeze. It is an old...

”Loved staying in the wonderfully appointed cabin, it had everything you could need for basic meal cooking. The shower as terrific, as was the bed. The cabin was very clean. ”Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. ”

”Spacious, well equipped and good value for money. It rains sometimes - it's Scotland - but the surroundings are glorious. We explored Loch Ness with castle Urquhart, saw dolphins at Chanonry Point, got close with hairy coos, went for a walk in Glen Affric and even visited Eilean Donan and completed the Bealach na Bà. ”After following Lorraine’s wonderful directions we made our way to Willie McLeod’s Croft. Everything anyone could need has been thought of. We stopped at the coop on our way so we were able to make meals after exploring Skye. We met Alan who graciously told us about his dogs and sheep :-). We needed some time away from noise and found it. Lorraine and family have done fabulous and loving work to keep the feel of the Croft while renovating it. We had a great getaway. ”
