First impressions are critical and the outside of the home badly needed cleaning; entry door very dirty, brown cobwebs hanging from the back porch ceiling. The inside was nice and clean, great TV, beds very comfortable. Very hot water which was nice. The bedrooms needed more storage. Biggest disappointment was the kitchen. We fix several of our own meals, but the availability of utensils was extremely limited.
Biggest surprise was the absence of china. There were a couple of plastic picnic plates and bowls. We fixed spaghetti the first night and had to work to make sure there was no stain left in the plastic bowls from the tomato sauce. Details matter to me and to others, I'm sure. Don't mean to be too hard on the owner, but some of these things should be addressed and they really wouldn't cost that much.
