”My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...

”This place is fantastic. It's tucked a good ten or so minute walk from any tourist area so it's nice and quiet. It's very cozy and relaxing. It comes fully stocked with kitchen items. Plates, pans ect... if you plan to stay longer. It's got two conbeni and one grocery store with in two minute walk as well. The only negative is that it's a 20 or so minute walk to the beach and closest station. ”
