”Everything was lovely, well equipped and comfortable. We had to go buy wood for the fire pit at the gas station so if you want a fire be prepared. Home was very clean and roomy. It does sit right next to I44 so the traffic noise was definitely present. Thank you for the stay. ”

”Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. Again, very cool house but just think...

It was pristinely clean and comfortable. Peacefuland munutes away from Washington's fantastic downtown shops, pubs, coffee shops, and resturants. Then there's wine country! Great first retirement getaway.”
