”Terrapuri on todellinen hotellikokemus! Vanhat rakennukset, joista saneerattu upeita huoneita. Henkilökunta ei puhu hyvää englantia, mutta on mielettömän ystävällistä ja käännösohjelman avulla hoituu viimeistään. Lähistöllä ei oikein ole palveluja, mutta hotellilta saa fillarin mutta toki myös ruokaa ja juomaa. Alkoholia ei tarjoilla (ehkä olutta oli). Ranta jatkuu kilometrejä autiona. Tällaista rauhaa on vaikea löytää. Nettiyhteys on heikko, mutta sähköpostit ja somet pystyy kyllä hoitamaan.”

”Le restaurant est beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité. Tarif laundry prohibitif. Les chambres sont rudimentaires. Il n'y a aucune étagère ou autre pour poser ses affaires. De l'enduit sur le carrelage de la salle de bain. Donc des améliorations pourraient être faites assez facilement. Si on accepte la frugalité, l'hôtel est très bien situé. Plage calme et jolie. Très beau jardin. Personnel aimable et aidant.”

”Really nice place and great staff. We couldn't arrive at the hotel the day we were supposed to arrive. We didn't get our money back from the night we didn't stay there but it was understandable. The hotel was still very nice because they gave us a big voucher that we could spend at the restaurant. We think that it was a super nice gesture from the hotel. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was also really nice. The restaurant at the hotel is really good too. We can really recommend...

”Arrived well before official checkin time. Room was ready. Although they tried to upsell their newer renovated rooms which were empty. They were nice but it wasn’t a free upgrade. Their initial remark was my booked room requires stairs climbing which I did not find an issue to begin with. The basic room was pretty much the same as the one I stayed in many years ago. Clean but ancient. There were kettle and fridge. Wifi never seemed to work but I never inquired further as I have my mobile data....

”Expensive room that doesn’t provide more than 2 bottles of water a day despite hot weather and price paid for the room. Our room was on the bend of the building so we felt a little squished as the balcony is smaller than other rooms. Bed was comfortable and wifi very strong and fast. Decent buffet breakfast, but very hectic trying to get tea/coffee/juice as one person doing all those whilst guests waited in small area. ”Es ist wirklich eine Zweckunterkunft. Man nutzt es nur zum schlafen und duschen. Es liegt genau zwischen Long Beach und Coral Bay, was wirklich ein ultra Pluspunkt ist. Ist auch der einzige Grund, weshalb ich dieses Hotel nochmal buchen würde. Die Anreise mit dem Speedboat von Kuala Besut empfiehlt sich über Coral Bay (ca. 7 Min Fußweg zur Unterkunft). ”

”Its a dead town..nothing special. No one goes to islands. Hotel is totally rundown. Bed, bath and room is bad. Room grown with spider web, lizards nest and ants nest. Have not seen cockroach yet. ”Stayed in hotel after arriving too late to travel onwards to the islands. Check in was fine, but room itself was in a poor condition, with facilities very run down. The sheets and towels were dirty. ”Accommodation was clean and well kept. Diving centre next door was excellent "Leisure Divers" Malay cuisine for breakfast each day was repetitive and could be better eg more fruit etc and add some western. Location was not so good in that the "beach" was mostly mud flat throughout the day with no sandy bottom and so not really suitable for casual swimming. Staff were good and friendly.”
