”Breakfast was a joke. Syrup was running everywhere. The waffle maker was covered in batter. The tables were not wiped off. There was no juice one banana and no other fruit. I could go on, but you get the point. Our room was disgusting. It made my anxiety go through the roof. We would’ve left, but it was late at night and there were no other rooms in the hotel. ”Horribly misleading photos. Once you step past the lobby or look in any direction you can see that everything was dirty, run down, and smelled. There was broken or out of service signs on almost every visible area, doors windows, etc. Our room looked nice but was very dirty. The bathroom was almost unusable. The sinks backed up the tub backed up, there was tubing and bite marks all over the door frame and walls. There was half holes. It was horrendous. The breakfast ran out of everything...

”Upon arriving the receptionist was very busy so it took us a bit to check in. Once checked in and in our room we immediately began noticing different cleanliness issues, dead bugs on the counters, a film coating on the shower, baseboards and flooring were stained from previous visitors. The fridge was also very dirty with old food stains and puddles from leaking items. Upon arrival we needed to pay an additional $50 deposit that was unexpected and were assured it would be refunded upon...

”This place isn't clean enough for rats and roaches to stay. The laundry room is gross and a joke. The staff isn't helpful at all and the rooms haven't been cleaned... Ever!”

”The stairwell and hallway smelled disgusting, and there was a smell in the room so I had to blast the air conditioner to help reduce the odor because it was preventing me from falling asleep. The bed made my skin itch, and the chair had a big yellow stain on it so I went to flip the cushion over but u underneath the cushion was so dirty I decided not to sit in the chair. I paid for 2 nights but I left after 1 night because I couldn’t deal with the smell in the room any longer.”

”Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!”
