”Date: October 16th we accidentally got locked out and couldn't get in on midnight. When I called they promptly unlocked the door for us. But be honest, cabin wasn’t as on the photos that what we expected. Heater wasn’t enough to warm up the cabin since there was only one heater pump. There weren't any benches like the listing near to lake.”

”It was great. I know having the bathroom and showers in different spot was different but still loved it. In touch with nature. A great place to stay. Room was cozy. My cat liked it. Knowing about the other spaces will make us want to choose one of them. This is what I needed and quiet place plus comfortable bed. Would stay again.”

”The unit itself was great but the time of year and weather conditions made the unit cold for old people. It has a heat pump but it just couldn’t heat the unit. An additional small electric heat helped when we were at the table eating or playing cards. The hosts were excellent and certainly exceeded our requests for additional utensils and supplies. The unit came with a shower but the building next to our unit had excellent facilities with warm, large and clean shower stalls. It didn’t have a...

The August House

The August House

10/10 Loistava
"This was honestly the best place I have ever stayed anywhere in Canada. The whole house has been renovated with care, with beautiful common areas and comfortable, clean room. I especially loved the bathroom decor, and have to specially mention that the bed had an actual duvet and a duvet cover instead of just a flat sheet and a blanket (although I think those would have been an option too, as it seemed every request you might possibly have was already considered and extra amenities available). I wish we could have used the sauna, but unfortunately our short stay did not allow for that. But we made sure not to miss the breakfast, which was amazing! The scrambled eggs were to die for, and the fresh local strawberries were super sweet. We'll definately come back if we're ever back to Windsor!"
