Perfect for our family to stay for Stanford's graduation. More affordable than anything in Palo Alto. There is no living room, so if you're looking for a place to hang together this might not be ideal. But if you need a place to sleep with a kitchen and each bedroom having its own bathroom, it's absolutely perfect! Well maintained, bright, and comfortable. Street parking was tough to find sometimes, but other times it was fine.

The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only downfall to this experience was the parking. Street parking got congested very quickly and sometimes would be a long walk to the house. I did communicate this to the owner in which they were able to let us use one side of the driveway, so that was nice of them.

Very nice home. Very clean and love the extra amenities available like: shampoo, conditioner, soap, iron, steamer. Good location and the owner was easy to get in touch with and very responsive when I had questions.

Great stay

This is was a great stay for our family of 4 which includes 2 teenagers. As the previous review stated, there is no living room, but that was not an issue for us. Our teens each had their private bedroom, bathroom, and TV with Netflix and other streaming, so for them, it was perfect. The kitchen is quaint with all the needed appliances. There is a little dining area. This home is actually a guest house located behind a main house with its own separate entrance. For me, this was a perk as I am always concerned about safety. I felt we were tucked away behind the owners main home which was nice. Neighborhood was quiet, close to the freeway, and we were able to find street parking near the house with no problem. As the previous review said, mattresses were not the most comfortable, but worked out okay. Home seems new and was very clean. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

No Living Room

This is the oddest home I have ever seen. In fact, I've never even heard of a home that has no living room. Plus the picture of the kitchen table made it look like there was room in that area but that wasn't the case. The table sits against the wall of a very small kitchen and seats 4 people. There is a bench up against another wall for another two people. There is no place in this small home for people to gather, watch TV together or just hang out with each other. I believe the home is new though. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice except the king bed and the middle bedroom bed were lumpy so they might have taken those beds from another rental or they are just very cheap new beds. The kitchen is neat and new but again, extremely small. There is no place for a family to gather but it's perfect for those who don't want to interact with each other. There is room outside for a table so maybe if the owners read this they can put a table outside so people can sit together. The HVAC system is odd. We own an HVAC company so we know the system they have isn't meant for an entire house. It is meant for one large room. Therefore the king bedroom doesn't get enough air. Could also be a problem with the duct work. Just can't get over the lack of a living room though. It's funny because they don't show pictures of a living room or mention one in the ad. But having a living room in the home is an obvious assumption so the lack of pictures didn't raise a red flag.
