Great home at the Lake of the Ozarks for a family getaway, girls or guys weekend, a friends gathering, or a couples retreat!

Beautiful lakefront home: wooded area in the back of a quiet, no wake cove (no boat traffic)
2 large lots directly on the water
Dock for swimming, fishing, and relaxing that includes two boat slips
Kayaks available for guest use
Plenty of decks so everyone can spread out and enjoy the lake days!

*Living Room also has a queen pull out sleeper couch

*20 minutes to Bagnell Dam by car
*25 minutes to Ha Ha Tonka State Park and Ozark Amphitheater
*20-25 minutes from Osage Beach.
Great location to all the great places the lake has to offer.
Mile Marker 8 on the Sunrise Beach side of the lake so close to lots of fun by way of the lake as well!

Great communication with the owner! The beds are so comfortable. The cove is very quiet and calm. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Wi-fi worked great for my work meetings. Overall we just love this place for our family getaway with our boat.

Family retreat

We enjoyed this peaceful cove house. We had 10 of us, 2-53 years of age. House was excellent and dock was excellent. Docked our Tritoon in the slip provided and swam in the cove. Evenings were filled with games on the deck. Morning coffee was best had at the lower deck by the water! Great place to stay!

Taylor family review

My family and I loved it! The house had a great cabin at the lake feel. The amenities were great. The dock, deck, grill, and rooms all worked out perfectly for our family. The kids especially enjoyed the kayaks. A few minor complaints. My 5 yr olds slipped on the spiral stairs a couple times going down (nothing injured). The rotted door jambs to the basement room were letting in some extra bugs. And the thermostat was confusing at first. The “schedule” will bump the temp back up to 80. All other instructions were explained very well. We would definitely return to this house!

Peaceful getaway

The home itself was very well taken care of and clean! We loved the location at the end of a quiet cove and the dock was nice, with lots of room for people to fish, swim from, and just hang out. The deck was lovely! There are mosquitoes in this location, so make sure you have bug spray. We didn't mind the stairs to get down to the dock and loved the separate bedroom downstairs where we had the teenagers sleep in their own space. I would say that this is not an appropriate house for small children, as there are too many ways for them to get hurt, but we didn't have to worry about that. We'd highly recommend this house and location and would love to stay here again in the future.

Great little get-away location

The house is very cute, the yellow front door makes for a happy hello. Everything in the house was very clean. There was plenty of room for all of us, we originally planned on 7 adults and 1 toddler but my middle son, his wife and son had to cancel, so there were 5 adults on this trip. Even if the others had made it, there would have been plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans and utensils making cooking our own meals easy. We utilized the BBQ grill throughout our stay, the heat shields were all askew when we went to use it the first time, but after setting them all back where they belonged the grill worked great. The swimming was fabulous, the water was quite deep making it perfect for lounging on floaties throughout the day. That climb back up to the house is a doozy LOL! The house is a little bit away from alot of the popular tourist attractions (Bagnell Dam etc.) but a 30 minute drive was all it took us to find some go karts and mini golf! It is very close to Bridal Cave which was awesome. We didn't boat, but the dock was nice and it appears that the cove would be easy to get in and out of as the surrounding properties all had boats. I think the only complaint that any of us had was about the beds...they are queen/full size beds and not very comfortable...but honestly sleeping in a new environment is always a struggle. All in all we had a super vacation and this little house was perfect for us.

A Perfect Vacation

My family and I had a wonderfully relaxing vacation. The house was everything I had hoped for and more. A perfect location at the end of an alcove with beautiful trees and decks that led down to the dock. The kitchen was fully stocked with every cookware needed. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would drive the 8 hours from Ohio to stay there again. Thank you Claus Family…Well done.

Let the Sun shine in!

The house was unique! Spiral staircase was perfect!! Very cozy and could not want for a thing! Steps to dock good excerzize, and fun things to do in the beautiful clear water. Everyone did their thing and had fun ! Was very facinated with carpenter bees on your deck. They are busy, taking turns and making perfect little circles!! Dont know if that is a good thing.

The perfect get away location... Look no farther!!!

This home sits in a quiet, and private setting with fantastic views... The homeowner is very responsive, and tentative to any needs we had for our stay... Upon arriving the home was just as beautiful as the pictures, and very clean!!! The home was well stocked with nice clean appliances, full of kitchen basic necessities, restrooms were well stocked, and plenty of linens for everyone... The beds were super comfy, and plenty of extra blankets and pillows... The best place of all "the deck" the grill worked great with supplied utensils... Lots of chairs on the deck for everyone, and the trip down the steps to your own private covered boat slips is a big bonus... The dock has lighting, power outlets, and your own swim platform... In all honesty our stay was very peaceful and the host was super hospitable, and left us wanting for nothing... Highly recommended, and cant wait to return!!!

Great home! We had a wonderful stay! Awesome location and dock! Everything was as said….beds are hard as previous reviews stated but wouldn’t stop us from staying again! We had 9 and didn’t feel crowded, great outdoor space!

Nice little getaway!

Everything was great about our stay other than parking was a little challenging with a pickup pulling a boat and coffee machine didn’t work right. Beds are extra firm but some people probably like that.

Great location, perfect for a group of friends

We had a wonderful stay! There were 8 adults (4 couples) and we had plenty of space. The dock was a fun place to hang out. The house is really nice and just like the photos. Some of the beds were a little stiff but not too bad. Great location away from the craziness of the lake, which made for a nice escape when we were done with party cove. Easy access to many of the popular bars and restaurants. Fridge was big enough to fit 5 days worth of meals and snacks. Lots of stairs down to the dock, so we definitely got our steps in. Inside spiral staircase was a little slippery so be careful. Overall, we loved it and had a great vacation!

Cool place and great location

We had such a great time. The location is perfect if you want to be away from all of the partying. The house is adorable and has a ton of room for the size. Everything ya need for chillin', grillin' and relaxing on the lake. We were at a softball tournament at the Ozarks and it was awesome to come back and jump in the lake. We brought rafts and floaties. The AC was awesome along with the fans. The bonus room was great for the kiddos. The host was super responsive when we had questions. The only downside were the beds. They mattresses were pretty hard and it was difficult to sleep on them. That's the only reason for 4 stars. It'd be 5 stars all the way if the mattresses had been more comfortable. The place is decorated so nicely. The neighbors were very friendly too. Thank you for allowing us to be off the grid for a few days.

Perfect!

House was amazing. It was clean, perfect location, giant windows to let in light. Be sure to use a water taxi because Uber is scarce on this side of the lake. I highly recommend this home!

This house was perfect for a great weekend. The house can sleep many people and has a great deck space for entertaining. The location is great. Easy access to popular lake destinations. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful escape

We had a very relaxing time just hanging out, fishing from the dock or our kayaks, etc. The house is nice and the kitchen is very well equipped. The separate down stairs room would be great for teenagers. The cove and the water was very quiet even when the main channel is rough. We would stay again.

10 friends at the lake

The property was great. Located in a quiet location. We didn’t have any problems with the neighbors. There was a boat slip which was very useful. It was a bit difficult fitting 10 people into 3 twins, a bunk bed, and 2 pullout couches, but we made it work. All in all it was a good experience. Thanks Dinah!

Quiet Cove Lake house

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this quiet cove lakeside home in Sunrise Beach MM 9. The house was spacious , updated and well stocked with everything we needed. Welcome Book had great information. Dinah and Jeremy were quick to respond with any questions I had. Plenty of room for double jet ski /Boat trailers and 2 cars at the site. The swim platform dock and ladder was awesome. The room down below was a great bonus. We will definitely be back, the only downfall is that we didn’t stay long enough. Thanks! Kris & Bob

Amazing!

House is in a perfect location.. very clean and spacious! We enjoyed morning coffee out on the deck and swimming off the dock all weekend. It was easy to get to the hot spots in the ozarks. Would definitely stay again!
