Shotgun mökki, vangitsee vintage-tyylin ulkonäkö nyt. Tämä merenrantapaikka on Purgason-perheen omistuksessa vuodesta 1972, kun se rakennettiin ensimmäisen kerran. Home tarjoaa ystävällisiä etu- ja taka-kuistia aamu- ja iltapäivän rentoutumiseen. Voit ylhäältä pois, "Widows Walk" (kattoterassi) tarjoaa ympäröivät näkymät valtameren, suon ja saaren yhteisössä istumalla kaikki nauttia. Täydellinen paikka saalis upeita auringonlaskuja saari on nimetty. Kuistit ovat keinut, keinuja ja tyylikkäät mukavat istuimet. Ulkona on maisemoitu palmuja ja valkoista hiekkaa. Runsaasti pysäköintitilaa! Kaksi ulkoa hiekkasuihkua, yksi yksityinen ja yksi hieroa hiekka- ja rantavarusteita pitkästä rannalla. Suuri taka grillikatos, jossa ylimitoitettu rento ruokapöytä ja runsaasti istuimia - hauska paikka syömään vesimeloneja. Saatavana on kaksi grilliä, otat kaasun tai puuhiilisi. Napping riippumatossa varjoisassa paikalla, joka kaappaa täydellisen valtaistuulen. Harvinainen betoni ajoradalle, joka sopii täydellisesti koripalloon, liidun piirustukseen, hyppynaruun, luisteluun ..... Perheen kokoelma merikuvioita on käytetty sisätilojen sisätiloissa ja ulkotilojen maisemoinnissa. Lapsenlapset ja perheenjäsenet ovat keränneet erityiset kuoret vuosien varrella.

Sisätilat tarjoavat hienostuneita ominaisuuksia rentoutumatta rentouttavan ranta-comber -tyyliin. Perheen koko talon kokoinen simpukankuori ovat vanhin ja nuorin perheenjäsenet, jotka ovat löytäneet aarteita. SeaPalmin omistavat luovien taiteilijoiden / suunnittelijoiden kauppa. He ovat valinneet ranta-elämäntyylin ja maksimaalisen mukavuuden kalusteisiin. Flat TV -näytöt ovat molemmissa makuuhuoneissa sekä avoimen konseptin Great Roomissa. Keittiö on hyvin varusteltu vohveleille mansikoilla aamulla ja daiquirisin iltapäivällä! Baari istuimet ja perhonen lehtien laajennettava ruokapöytä lisäävät helposti aterian jakamista. Kolme ylisuurta liukusäädintä esiportaan antavat paljon auringonvaloa kirkkaassa ja pirteässä talossa. Plantation ikkunaluukut ovat kaikissa makuuhuoneissa ja tarjoavat tyylikkään yksityisyyden. Huoneissa on huippuluokan vuodevaatteet.

Ideal beach house for a relaxing trip!

The location was ideal for a fun and relaxing trip for a family. It was maybe a 3-4 minute walk to the beach, even with a toddler. That made it possible to go back and forth to the house easily for food/restroom breaks! There were so many games and toys to entertain us while we were taking a break from the beach. The fully stocked kitchen and grills made it convenient to have family meals at the house if our little ones were too rambunctious for a restaurant. There were multiple outdoor shower stations to rinse off after being at the beach, which helped limit the amount of sand that we brought home with us. This home made all the difference when it came to having a great trip to sunset beach, we can’t wait until next summer!

Only Regret is Not Staying Longer

Our only regret is not staying longer. If we had the money, we’d book the Sea Palm for a month. We love this home and Sunset Beach. It’s the perfect combination.

Exactly what we were looking for

We loved everything about our stay at the Sea Palm and we could not have had a better week. The beach is very close and everyone we interacted with showcased southern hospitality. The amenities that we enjoyed are too numerous to list, but first to mind are the widow's watch and hammock. Can’t wait to return!

We love Sunset Beach and are so grateful for this family opening their home to be shared with others! The only improvement we would recommend is a small sectional couch in the living room. The furniture in there is not comfortable. Thankfully, there are many other options for hanging out in this beautiful home. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

Family beach week

We have stayed at this house 3 times now. There are so many things to like about it. Pros: proximity to the beach, hammock, nice, spacious enclosed outdoor shower, and 2nd rinse-off outdoor shower, many porches and outside spaces to enjoy, renovated bathrooms, nice beach chairs (excellent perk - so we don't have to pack our own), beach games, grills, backyard space, well-stocked kitchen. Opportunities for improvement: living room furniture is not comfortable and doesn't provide enough space for more than 4-5 people. Wicker chairs at dining table are not comfortable -difficult to seat more than 5 people at the table (there are barstools at counter for 4 more), but when playing games, we wanted all 6 of us at the table. Chandelier is spikey - we have hit our heads on it getting up from table. Beds are so-so. One queen is very soft and plushy, other two are too firm for our liking. This year when we arrived, the house did not appear to have been thouroughly cleaned (sand in bathtub, spalshes on counter, debris on carpet). We reported it to the owner as soon as we arrived. Owner was very responsive with calls and texts right away. My daughter vaccumed, and a cleaning crew was sent to clean the bathrooms within the hour. It did interrupt our dinner, but cleaning crew was very polite and made sure we were satisfied. It did make me question cleanliness overall, but appreciated quick response by owner. House was clean other 2 times we stayed here. Not really fault of the owner.

Super close to the beach!

Loved our stay, house was clean and as described. We have a toddler and the patios were all gated which saved us many temper tantrums. Beach access is EXTREMELY close, and the provided beach equipment made everything more convenient. Highly recommend!

Not your run-of-the-mill beach house

This house is charming. It was built before the great Sunset Beach housing boom in which many poorly built homes were indiscriminately thrown together, The quality of building is much better (solid wood cabinets, wood siding and shutters, etc) and the many homey decorative touches make it feel more like a family home than a rental. Well-equipped kitchen, two newly renovated bathrooms, lots of covered deck area complete with comfortable furniture and porch swings, hammock, lots of beach chairs, two outdoor showers, kiddie toys, smooth concrete both under the house and in the driveway (great for kid play when not at the beach), easy access to the beach, fun decorative backyard lighting, (grandkids loved this), nice landscaping…this house has it all. Nicely maintained and clean. Highly recommend.

Home is well kept with great attention to atheistic and homey details. I feel the homeowner keeps the home ready for his family's visit and holds nothing back from the renters, within reason. The bathrooms were recently updated, the commodes are quiet and water saving. The coffee pot is a Kureg Duo, which is great. The beds are comfortable. There is an ample supply of beach gear for use but take your own shade providing device. The only 4-star rating is due to prior renters not rising off beach gear. This is no reflection on the homeowner or cleaning crew as it's the renter's responsibility if not common courtesy. There is an open outdoor shower and hose station for rising beach gear and ample hanging storage to dry beach gear as well. A private outdoor shower with hot and cold water is provided. A washer and dryer are also provided. The porches are fantastic and there's a porch swing under the house in the shade for cool comfort if you desire. A short walk to an awesome beach. Be sure to take the Koozie's to Sunset Slush for 50c off refills, then return them please.

Great location and many updates!

Roger was very responsive to any inquiries. Bathrooms were just remodeled and very nice! The outdoor rinse area was great and outdoor shower nice and private. We enjoyed breezy evenings in the backyard which has a nice ground platform with a picnic table and two grills. Lighting strung over the area was so nice and we enjoyed cornhole and spending time there together.

Great beach house

We have vacationed at Sunset Beach for over 25 years and love this island. We have stayed in several houses over the years. This is a great vacation home. Pros: Quick walk to the beach. Great outdoor spaces with lots of seating. Front deck, back deck, under the house, and top deck! 3 porch swings, a hammock, rocking chairs. My daughter and I spent several afternoons reading in the hammock. Grassy area out back with new string lights. Great place to play corn hole! Plenty of NICE beach chairs. Plenty of beach games, umbrellas, small coolers to tote to the beach, surfboards, skim board. Small deck with picnic table and grill. Outdoor shower with room for changing. LOVE an outdoor shower! Comfortable beds. Updated bathrooms. Plenty of flatware dishes, and kitchen appliances. (could use another small skillet) Cons: Living room furniture is not great. Vinyl couch that is not very comfortable and sticks to bare skin when wearing shorts - though I imagine it is easier to clean than fabric! Bathrooms and kitchen were clean, but noticed glass ring on an end table and some dishes had some residue. Not deal breakers by any means, just noted. Previous renters had broken the stovetop. Not the owners fault at all - accidents happen and we were well-informed prior to our arrival. We were still able to use stovetop - just not the largest burner. Icemaker in door doesn't work and icemaker in freezer didn't appear to be making ice, so we had to buy a bag of ice. Overall really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back. Owner is very responsive to questions/needs and obviously has put a lot of thought into trying to make your stay at the beach a fun one!

Such a relaxing vacation home. Lots of places to sit outside and out of the sun. Widows walk has seating and a great view. Location is simply perfect. Outdoor shower was used more than the inside ones! We might build one at home. Definitely on our list to stay at again.

Family Reunion

Sunset Beach is amazing. Perfect weather all week. The Sea Palm home was perfect for our family. More than enough space, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and beach gear. The outside shower was amazing. The home is older, so if your looking for modern updates this is not your place. But if you’re like us and go for the beach and outside space this is the ideal home for you. If we weren’t at the beach we were on one of the three porch spaces. Would definitely be returning again next year.

Awesome spot at Sunset Beach

The house was everything we expected and more! We brought beach chairs and umbrella and all that and didnt even need it. THE house had EVERYTHING!!!
