”Our first trip to Seaside was a success and this hotel worked well for exploring the area. It has a cute coastal vibe and although the exterior looked a little rough, the inside was a pleasant surprise — clean, comfortable, and more updated than expected. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. ”The hotel was about a block from the beach and was a short walk to the downtown which had many restaurants and shops. They offered a free, hot breakfast which was nice.”

”We always chose to stay in this hotel on our yearly Oregon Coast vacation since 2012, when my kids were still little. The hotel is right on the beach with spectacular views! Walking distance to restaurants and shops. It has always been a very good experience in this hotel, until last year's and this year. Our this year's recent 3 days stay was disappointing. First, prior to our arrival, I messaged the hotel for us to have extra pillows and a blanket, but never came. I had to call and ask again....

”We chose this location for walking proximity to downtown and other sights. The room was fine but the traffic noise was very loud, even in the middle of the night. I asked for a new room and was told there were none of the same type available. I asked to upgrade and was told that since I booked through a third party (Expedia) and prepaid, that the payment was locked in and nothing could be done.”

”I liked the location, close to town and many cute coffee shops. The building is painted really cute and they had a kitchen which we really appreciated a lot. Loved the kitchenette and how clean it was. We were there for one night. Bed was comfortable and it was an overall nice stay. The only thing is it’s a very old building and doesn’t really match the photos. The photos make it look much better.”

”Breads, muffins, etc. for breakfast were a little dry. Otherwise, food was fine. Only complaint about the room was that the bathroom sink, although beautiful, was too high for my 5'4" height - kept splashing myself to wash my face.”
