”It was a great stay”

”Hyvä hotelli, suosittelen!”

”A traditional hotel with good breakfast.”

”This was my first trip to Tokyo and Ikebukuro was an amazing area to stay, everything was so close. Ikebukuro train station was 5min walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was hidden in a small street, very quiet. Tidy hotel but already a little bit old. The staff was very helpful all the time. Not too much skills in English but everything was taken care of so there weren’t any problems. Room was very small but enough for us to sleep.”

”とても綺麗で過ごしやすかったです”

”Everything was amazing”

”시설대비 가격이 너무 비쌈”

”We like Sugamo area and chose APA for the first time since they are everywhere in Japan and location next to station was great. Room was quiet and ok but mattress was already molded by previous customers making me slide off to one side. Bathroom had moldy smell. Toiletries were given daily. Breakfast was common Japanese style and enough. However they played the same noisy hard rock music every morning. Its not suitable for breakfast! The dining area looked different style to rest of the hotel....

”Clean and affordable, but quite modest hotel with small rooms situated exellently in the heart of Ikekuburo just 10 min walk from the Ikebukuro Station. Lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities just around the corner. Hotel breakfast was quite poor, but overall good value for money. Recommended if you just want a place to stay the nights. ”

”The front desk team is super helpful and friendly, and they speak great English. The rooms are very clean and a bit more spacious than what you’d expect in a typical Japanese hotel—they even have a microwave, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. You’re close to lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores, and Okubo Station is just a few minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again!”

”Upea sijainti aivan juna-aseman vieressä. Pelkäsin, saisinko nukuttua täällä lainkaan mutta paikka oli täydellinen Tokion reissun tukikohta pidemmäksikin aikaa. Lounge-tiloissa sai ilmaista riisiä, ja juomia. Päivän kävelyn päätteeksi spa-osaston kiva allas ja aito ”self-Löyly” sauna kruunasivat fiiliksen.”

”Perus hotelli, sijainti hyvä jos haluat käydä juhlimassa.”

”This is a nice hotel and on a great location for the train as well as restaurants and shopping. You just need to be aware that the train is right beside the hotel and depending on your room number it can be very loud. But the they moved us rooms with no hesitation. Mondo was such a wonderful receptionist. Also make sure you try the free ice cream that they offer in the lobby.”
