Mai Tai Good Time- Kayaks, bikes, fire pit, fenced yard and more!

  • Come have a "Mai Tai Good Time" with the whole family at this cozy beach cottage just a 5min drive from Holden Beach! The large fenced backyard is very private, has outdoor seating, and is perfect for kids and pets! Plenty of beds to bring friends or for multiple families, HUGE outdoor shower, and a fire pit. We keep the wood stocked for you!

    We have bikes, beach chairs, and kayaks to use during your stay. The home has enough space to park your boat if you want to go joy riding or fishing!! The house is cozy and has a great open concept so that everyone can enjoy. There is a main bathroom with a shower and a half bath in the master. The master bedroom has a King sized bed and then second bedroom has Queen. The bunkroom has Full over Full beds with an additional trundle bed!!

    The house has a full kitchen, great laundry setup for after beach days, and plenty of places to lay around. In the fenced backyard you can enjoy the fire pit and you will find bikes, kayaks, and chairs in the shed. The front porch is also amazing and has more bottle openers than you need, but makes it a great place to have a beer and relax!

Host was amazing! The communication was great! The outdoor table umbrella was broken and a replacement was delivered asap. House clean, beds comfy, appliances are nice, and pups love the fenced in backyard. Close to beach and restaurants. We had a fabulous week!!

We had a great time for our family spring break trip. This place had everything we needed and then some. Very clean and convenient to the beach and shops. Our dogs loved the backyard and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Holden Beach! Highly recommend!!!

The host is very kind and responsive. The place itself was super cozy, decorated very cabin cozy ocean vibes. The bed was comfy and wi-fi was good if you work remote as I did. Very well stocked with soaps and laundry. There’s a great fire pit out back we didn’t use but was ready to go! Our fur baby was with us and loved having her own space out back. Highly recommend Mai Tai!

Our second year staying here for daughter’s dance competition. We absolutely love to stay here! The location is perfect and made it easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The layout of the home is great and very comfortable for our stay. Everything is exceptionally clean, and we really appreciated the privacy the property offered. The host was also wonderful—communication is easy and quick the entire time. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Home was beautiful. Close to the beach. Simple check in and out. Well stocked with everything you. would need. Beds were super comfy. We will definitely stay again. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Owner was great at communicating. Bonus we all loved the super comfy chair in the living room.

We love the quiet location off the island but so close to everything!! This house has all the comforts of home. Our dogs love the fenced in back yard and we love the firepit!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s approx 5 min drive to the beach so it’s very convenient and at an affordable price. We didn’t bring a dog with us but it would be a great place for your pet since it has a fenced in back yard. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Also, the communication with the owner could not have been easier. Recommend this cute beach cottage.

We had a fantastic time and loved the house. Would definitely stay again! Everything was nice and clean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and it was super convenient to get to the beach. Very nice kitchen with plenty of supplies. Appliances all worked well. The back porch table and umbrella was lovely to sit at. The kids loved the giant loft beds, which I'm pretty sure were full size instead of twin. Plenty of easy parking. Great communication and instructions throughout. The only thing I'd note for other travelers is that although it technically sleeps 9, it would be a very tight fit for that many adults! You'd be doubling up in the loft beds. Plus there's just two toilets, one indoor and one outdoor shower (that was great!), and the kitchen table seats 6 or maybe 7 if you squish. Probably enough comfy seating for 5-6 in the living room too - but plenty of folding chairs!

Everything was perfect!! The host was great! Everything we needed was provided as advertised. We even had access to all the movie channels/streaming which was great for evening tv options. It was the best setup for our family and two small dogs; definitely feels like a home away from home. We reallly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book it again!!

Close to some great golf courses and the beach.

Location was good. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable and easy! The menus and local suggestions in the binder were terrific! So many great food options nearby!

Perfect little place to stay

I was able to book Mai Tai for my husbands last minute family get together. He was very happy with his stay and would recommend to visitors to the area. The location was perfect and the house well appointed. Thank you for sharing your home.

We rented this property to have a place to stay while we moved into our new home in the area. It was very comfortable, which was great after moving all day! The fenced in yard was awesome for our dog and one less thing for us to worry about.
