  • New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

    Silver Linings East is a beautifully situated, completely renovated, oceanfront duplex with a spectacular oceanfront view. There's enough room for the entire family, with nearby local restaurants, ice cream parlors, and gift shops.

    This home, which is one side of a duplex, offers an open living, kitchen, and dining area with shiplap ceilings and rustic beams, nautical ceiling fans, a glass picture-window wall, luxury vinyl plank and carpeted floors throughout, an expandable 12-person dining table, beautiful frost-white quartz countertops, quality brushed-brass faucets, all-new stainless steel appliances including a glass-top stove, a Keurig machine, and kitchen accessories complete with a spice rack. The pantry is well equipped too, with new Cuisinart small appliances, a toaster, a coffee maker, a coffee grinder, a milk frother, an espresso machine, and more.

    There are two primary bedrooms, the first of which is on the main level offering its own den and full luxury bathroom. The second-floor suite has its own luxury bathroom and private oceanfront balcony for sunbathing by day and stargazing by night. The bathrooms have been renovated with light marbling custom tile, natural rock showers, frameless shower doors, quartz countertops, and top-of-the-line, brushed-brass Delta hardware.

    Additional amenities include new Hot Tub, new Roku/cable smart TVs (one in every bedroom), a DVD player, a VCR, fast and reliable WiFi, a spacious covered porch with rocking chairs, a large observation deck, plenty of covered parking, rinse-off showers, an outdoor sink and cleaning station, and a set of outdoor stairs leading to the deck entrance and the private boardwalk to the beach.

    Things to Know
    Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
    Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
    All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
    No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
    The washing machine is not available for use during the winter months.

Perfect Stay

Once a year I do a beach weekend getaway by myself. This was the best stay I’ve had! Location and home were perfect. The area is very quiet and the house has everything you’ll need. Vacasa also worked with me when I had to cancel due to a health issue, and helped me book a different date very easily.

Amazing views! Comforts of home with updated bathrooms and comfy beds. Could use newer, softer bedding and some cleaning supplies on hand to clean up just normal life. Nice quiet beach with TONS of sea shells. We have found our new favorite spot on the coast.

Good location. Unit needs some repairs ( very minor). Kitchen is full of ‘stuff’ but pots and pans are badly scratched. Knives are almost unusable. Great place for a large family if you rent both sides. Overall good place.

We spent a long weekend here with the kids and the grandkids. It was wonderful to walk right out to the beach. The place is a little worn and could use some updating but the price was great, the location was awesome and it was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. It was great to have an empty cupboard to put our food items in which we often don't find in rentals. The rooms were good size and the beds were comfy. The listing states it sleeps 12 and the bedrooms would comfortably fit that many. However, we do think that 12 would be a snug fit for the living space and the kitchen. We had one issue arise on arrival and reached out to the rental company and they were very responsive and the issue was resolved quickly. There are lots of beach toys, chairs and boogie boards available for use. There is a small charcoal grill.

Perfect House

We absolutely loved our time at this property! The entire house was perfect for our group — every bedroom was clearly designed with adults in mind, with comfortable queen or king-sized beds throughout. It made for a truly relaxing stay, with no one stuck in bunk beds or small rooms. There was plenty of space for everyone to gather, whether we were lounging in the cozy living room or sitting around the table playing cards. But hands down, our favorite spot was the porch. The covered area with rocking chairs was such a peaceful place to unwind, whether it was morning coffee or evening chats. Another big plus was the ample parking, which made arrivals and departures super easy for our group. We would book this property every single year if we could — unfortunately, it's already booked for summer 2026! But we'll be keeping an eye out for future openings. Highly recommend!

The duplex has a great view...that being said there are some cleanliness issues but I understand that they are working hard to correct these issues ...they were very apologetic and seemed sincere when speaking to me about my concerns and did offer me a monetary refund which was appreciated...they were very fair

Needs updating

Cockroaches were bad. Furniture was old and uncomfortable so we’re some of the beds. No screens on windows so we couldn’t get any fresh air. Would not stay there again.

A few things

The AC was superb and the house very nice over all. Upon arrival, we soon discovered that the microwave plate was gone .... Not in the cabinet, the dishwasher... No where to be found. Made using the microwave very difficult.

The property was on the beach. It was peaceful & quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed sitting on the deck & being able to walk out the door & take walks on the beach. The house was generally comfortable & clean. The only negative was that the utensils & dishes were not clean, and I had to wash them before we could use them. The pans left in the oven were coated in baked on food & grease, and one of the large cooking spoons was so coated in dried on food, that I had to scrub hard to get it cleaned off. All thing taken in to account, We liked it enough that we would consider staying there again.

Only 1 washer & dryer

Only one washer and dryer for both sides of this duplex. That's 8 bedrooms sharing. If you only rent one side, your sharing with strangers. You can hardly open the dryer door to put your clothes in. The washer and dryer are out on the back porch in a very small enclosure. Beware if you put the washer in the wrong cycle it will take longer than the dryer takes. Make the enclosure twice as big, taking out one window each side, making it a door into a stacked set, or small laundry room. Or take out the kitchen pantrys, put a stacked set there. Otherwise home would be a 4.5 star.

Best thing about this place is the view!

We loved the view and close proximity to the beach, but the house not so much. When we first arrived, we immediately detected a strong urine smell from a chair in the living room. The house was not clean and there was absolutely no way the cleaning staff could have missed that smell! It was apparent to us that they only changed the sheets and provided towels...that's it! Maintenance was very quick to remove the chair from the house, so I am thankful for that. Also, the washer and dryer is shared. When I booked the house a few months ago, it did not specify that the washer and dryer was shared, so I was disappointed in that. Had I known that, I would have booked a different house. We liked Holden Beach, but will stay somewhere else if we return again.

First night ..bugs!

I will say overall we were happy with the experience and our stay. The details from the title refers to our first night experience after checking in. With in 30 minutes I killed 4 full size roaches/water bugs out in the open and on the walls. My 4 kiddos were not wanting to go to sleep or enter other rooms for the fear of the bugs. The management company offered to come and take care of it. However it was a little too late at this point. The bugs are already in the house and I already killed them. Pest control should be consistent and taken care of before guests arrive. Pros: The house location on street and beach. The cost of staying 3 nights. Having a washer and dryer! Clean linens. Cons: The kitchenware was okay. The pots and pans need major updating as all of them are scratched with peeling non stick surfaces. We’ve made note to bring our own pans on any future trips because the ones provided are unreliable. No clocks worked in the house.
