”The property is clean and stylish and very central to the old town. The price is cost effective too. However, I found the owner to be awkward, rude, unfriendly and uncommunicative - I wouldn't say that should put you off booking but just be warned you will be dealing with someone who really isn't a "people person". ”My original accommodation booking was at another property but the host had to cancel so I booked this one instead and I am so glad I did. The location was a five-minute walk from the city centre and close to all amenities including three restaurants right beside us. The daily breakfast was wonderfully provided with many local dishes being served. The room was cleaned daily (which I was not expecting). Serena and Paola were exceptional hosts and I think this is one of the best experiences...

”L'Orangerie d'Epoque is an absolutely unique experience. The room is very high and comfortable with furniture that brings to mind my grandmother's house. Another very nice feature is a pleasant private garden, which is at the disposal of the guests. The house is near the historical centre of Lecce. I was there in quite hot weather in June, and the room remained very cool and comfortable. It was, however, NOT air-conditioned, as was advertised. ”We paid for this vacation room. It is terribly advertised. The room was just that a room down long dark halls. There was no real sitting balcony for us. There was one room down the hall full of dirty clothes, boxes ect. We left a few minutes after we arrived to site see a car pulled up to me and tried to get me into his car. At that point we went into the walls of Lecce found a beautiful condo that was cheaper than this one bed . Please be careful in this area near the train station and go...

Le reste n’est pas à la hauteur de ce qui est proposé dans la description : nous n'avons été accueilli par personne, nous n'avons jamais vu les responsables, seule la femme de menage (très agreable) était la personne de contact. ”Anna was an exceptional host . She greeted us at the door made us a drink when we arrived and gave us complimentary fruit. She gave us a map and lots of recommendations of places to see and eat and drink. The appartment was lovely and modern and I would fully recommend this as somewhere to stay in Lecce ”
