”My friends and I are from Pittsburgh and we wanted to take a trip together before my wedding. We only wanted to drive 2 or 3 hours from home. We ended up choosing Ashtabula and it's a nice town with a nice beach. Unfortunately the beach closest to the house is poor quality and dirty. Lots of geese and smelly geese droppings all throughout the sand. Walnut beach is a short drive away and I recommend it over Lake shore park if you're looking for a beach. The best part was the quick walk from the house to the Aquarium from where we could catch the shuttle to the Niagara park and back. Kids loved the stay and the game room was also great.
