During my recent experience at the hotel, I encountered several issues that highlight shortcomings in customer service.
1. Initially, I requested two extra towels and a washcloth, but my request was denied until I provided a thorough explanation of why I needed them.
2. Upon checking the bedding, I found multiple hairs on both the sheets and pillows. Despite this, the cleaning staff were reluctant to change the bedding until they received approval from the manager. Even after acknowledging the issue, the manager insinuated that the hair could have belonged to me. Both the manager and housekeeping staff exhibited a dismissive attitude throughout the interaction.
3. One of the most troubling aspects of this experience was when the manager made inappropriate comments that suggested I was a sex worker and my boyfriend was merely a client. This left my boyfriend feeling so uncomfortable that he chose to leave the room and wait in the car until the bedding issue was resolved.
4. Ultimately, the resolution of these issues took about 30 minutes, with a significant portion of that time spent advocating for my concerns. Overall, this experience fell far short of what I consider acceptable customer service.
