”Overall, the new extension building housing the 4th floor rooms is a good place for business travel. The staffs are super helpful and friendly. Close to city, CBD area and main arterial roads. The rooms are tidy and since it is rather new comparing to the old wing, not much of smell or dampness, apart from some left over aroma from room service delivery in the elevator and hallway. ”From Jodi's welcoming words and driving up to the Lohhtkeepers House we felt we had stepped into a special place. The location is just like a beautiful story, with the lighthouse circling above through the night you can feel transmitted back to ages past. The house itself is perfect. The Fairy Penguin Colony and wallabes the wander in to the yard make it perfect as you sit on the enclosed porch with coffee looking out prrched above the water. ”Everything was really dirty including the bathrooms - the room smelled moldy and was pretty damp (my bag and clothes still carry the smell). Would not recommend, it has potential but it is not a good place to stay at. ”

”What a glorious spot amongst the vines, comfortable well equipped dome, shame the weather didn’t play along so we could use the outdoor fire. The included wine tasting is one of the best we have done, the wines are beautiful and it’s an unpretentious setting. recommend booking the food hamper. What a great idea to give a voucher to use towards the cost of breakfast at local cafes, we visited the Cabin in Exeter and in Moon Lilly in Beaconsfield, both lovely. ”Did not get a virtual checkin message re keysafe code to open room. Only access to disability room was via stairs or dirty steep ramp in service delivery with 4 heavy fire doors. Room outlook was to covered pool and back fence, not the managers glowing “water views “ or pictures on advertising. Restaurant closed for our stay. Mould in shower. No vacuum cleaning during 3 night stay. Layer of dust on bed head. ”

Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä kävelyetäisyydellä keskustasta, Windmillin remontoidun uintikeskuksen ja City Parkin puiston lähellä. Huoneestamme 2 kerroksesta ja sen parvekkeelta oli hyvät näköalat kaupungin ylle. Keittiössä ruoanlaittokin onnistui hyvin. Launceston on erittäin viehättävä kaupunki, vanhoja hyvin pidettyjä taloja, paljon kauppoja, hyvät ulkoilumaastot Tamar-joen ja Cataract Gorgen varrella....
