”The location is great for visiting Acadia National Park, but overall our stay was average. The biggest issue was maintenance. Both the bathroom sink and bathtub were clogged and drained very slowly throughout our stay. Bedroom clean doesn't happen daily even we hang the please clean my room sign. Room also lacked some basic amenities that would have made it much more comfortable, such as a microwave, electric kettle, and a small desk. The lighting was also quite dim, making the room feel dark,...

”I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice, quiet tucked away in the woods but close enough to restaurants and various other creature comforts in nearby Bar Harbor. I even extended my stay by a day and that was also hassle free. Y’all rock!”

”My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Otter Creek Inn. The Only minor complaint we might have was the size of the shower in unit #5 (the only one we know about). If you are a large person that shower may present an issue. Other than that, our week there was great. Dawn, the manager was always helpful and we shared a few laughs with Evelyn over morning coffee. ”The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!”

”Lovely property, excellent location, and exceptionally friendly staff. The breakfasts and daily snacks were a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The only suggestion I would make is to pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the carpets and floors. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our experience.”

”You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set.”

”Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean ,fresh and perfect for a short or long stay IMO. A/C worked great and the heat did too. Plenty of hot water. Microwave and small fridge with a freezer kept our freezer packs frozen. We would not hesitate to book again ! A very easy walk to the town center of Bar Harbor and the Island Express Buses to get around the island for FREE. The buses take you into and all over Acadia National Park. Lines can get long..”

”We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!”
