The hot tub wasn’t operable. The game room has burned out fluorescent lights above the ping pong table. The pool table had a ripped felt surface. Once we had food in the house, ants came out of nowhere. Missing screens on patio sliders and other windows. The mattresses in several rooms were very saggy.

The house was perfect for our stay with myself, my husband, our baby and toddler, and our dog. The location is a quick drive to most things, and super close to Deep Creek State Park where we did some hiking. The house was nothing fancy, but comfortable and met all of our needs. The communication with Vacasa, though, was subpar. There was a boat randomly parked at the dock starting on day 2 of our weeklong stay. After it was there for a full day I messaged asking if it was supposed to be there and Vacasa said they were getting in touch with their local operations manager. We never heard back from them. Luckily we weren’t really using the dock, but if you want to rent a boat for your own stay then I would make that clear ahead of time.

The property was not terrible to stay at there was a question of the functionality of some doors and sinks as they did not seem to be up to the standard that I felt the property showed online. Overall, it was a pretty decent location to stay at considering the amount of time we were there.

We had a number of issues at this property, such as wasp nests and a problem with the gas grill. The VRBO staff was very responsive and sent maintenance staff quickly. The pullout couch in one room was very uncomfortable so the staff brought a couple of air mattresses which helped quite a bit.

This property was perfect for our family vacation! The kitchen has recently been renovated and was beautiful. The views from the deck at any time of the day was breathtaking, watching the sun rise in the morning to enjoying the boating during the day. We rented a pontoon boat for the week that added to our vacation enjoyment and the dock was really nice, especially the wider dock on the one side! We also had our Labradors with us that enjoyed the water as much as we did! The evenings were topped off with s’mores at the gorgeous fire pit by the lake with of course some adult beverages! The game room downstairs was the site of some fierce ping ball competitions and having an easy access downstairs directly to the lawn was a bonus. The only change we would like would be handrails going into the basement , but that will not keep us from giving an enthusiastic 5 stars to this lovely lake front getaway😁

This older home was in a beautiful location right on the lake with beautiful views right from the couches. Great stop for a family of teens. The basement was a blast for us and the couch was comfy. It's an older home but that added to the charm. Some newer board games would have been appreciated and some attention to detail around the hot tub (it was pretty grimy to be in honestly) would have made the stay perfect but the communication with the team about a few very very minor concerns balanced everything out well. Thank you!

Needed a place to stay for 2 days for a mountain bike race at Deep Creek Lake State Park. This place was sufficient. Very close to the park.

The location was excellent, having private dock and access to the water was awesome. The large yard was great for the dogs and we even got to use the fire pit. The internet and cable were not working for the first 2 days of our trip. This was somewhat of an inconvenience as service is spotty there and it was hard to look up what restaurants/attractions were open and worth seeing. However, after communicating with Vacasa, Comcast came out on the 3rd day and diagnosed and fixed the issue. The property itself could use a little updating. Some drywall patches that need painted, updating the pool sticks(tips broken, but operable with the glue they provided), linoleum peeling in some spots. Overall everyone was pleased with the stay. The fact that they allow pets was huge for us. The large yard, fire pit, water access, games in the basement, hot tub(worked, but we didn't get around to using), close to attractions and restaurants were all pros to staying at this rental.

We had a great time. I only wish the house was available for a longer length of time. 5 days was not enough. Loved the fact that the house was not on the main part of the lake. The quite area of the lake was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding.

We knew the house was pet friendly when booked. What we were not prepared for was the imbedded dog hair, urine soaked carpets throughout the house, and urine soaked couches. I have stayed at plenty of "pet-friendly" VRBO homes and have never experienced a house like this. We had to lay blankets down on the main floor of the family room and the furniture so our kids could play without being immersed in the smell of dog pee. In addition, the sliding glass doors did not have screens so we had to leave the doors open to air out the house. The ignite button did not work on the grill. There was not a broom in the house nor a working vacuum for us to clean up after meals.

We loved our stay in this property. It was spacious, clean and cozy. The kitchen had sufficient items if one wanted to cook. The kids enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table in the basement. It was in a quiet neighborhood but convenient short drive to Deep Creeks main road. The best part was the walk down to the lake, no steps! We would definitely stay there again.

We loved the house especially the hot tub and fire pit. The house needs some cutting boards and the door knobs need to be refastened or replaced. The house was great for our family of 8 and 2 dogs and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again!!

Overall this home was decent. Out dated, basic kitchen necessities (no big bowls) some tv's didn't have cable and a few of the electrical outlets did not work but nothing to stress over. Wood fireplace was great and the views during the early morning sun rises were priceless.

We loved much about this place including location, views and the raises deck. But be aware it needs some updating and some things are run down. Plenty of pots and pans but lacking in dishes if you have a family. Great for doggies!
