Surrounded by trees, summers at The Breakaway are green and lush, and the deck becomes the perfect place to grill up your favorite vacation meals, made better only by the tinkling of wind chimes in the breeze. When the heat swells, pack your leftovers into a cooler, grab the sunblock, and take a short drive to the lake for hours of fun in the water. Autumn and winter are serene in the Sky Valley community, and its walkable roads allow you to get out and enjoy the changing the leaves and the gentle snowfall at your leisure. Want the sights without venturing into the cold? Scope out your favorite spot on the couch and admire Deep Creek’s natural beauty through two sliding glass doors, all while being warmed by the roaring fireplace. In just a few miles, you can find a variety of adventure-packed activities for all ages! From hitting the greens at the Thousand Acres Golf Course to hiking at the State Park, to axe throwing, go-karts, and more you can ensure your getaway is full of fun for everyone. After hours of adventure, wind down with a restorative soak in the hot tub and fall into bed for sweet dreams of another great day in Deep Creek. When you’re ready to relax, we’re ready to have you!

ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is a short drive down Ridge Road and Piney Point Dr to the parking lot. While this home does not come with dock access, dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $25/day. Please note that this association only rents slips to those who privately own their boats. Rental boats are not allowed. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

DISCLAIMERS:
4WD/AWD or snow tires are always recommended for the area during the Winter months of November – March. For more house specific driveway information, please refer to your app/guest portal after booking.

There is a working wood fireplace available for use, however firewood is not provided. Locally available for purchase.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. For a list of restricted breeds and our full policy regarding dogs, please contact us directly.

AFTER BOOKING: An email will be sent to the address provided during check-out; please check for action items needed to secure your reservation. The subject of this email will start with "URGENT: Complete Your Booking For"... and may be in your Promotional/Marketing folders depending on your email provider and settings.

TOILETRIES & PAPER PRODUCTS: Bed linens and bath towels provided w/rental. No soaps, toiletries, paper products, trash bags, etc. will be provided with the exception of a welcome bag including a few starter items. Please pack accordingly.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. This policy is in place to help combat fraudulent activity that is more likely to occur in last-minute arrivals.
