”It was a short stay, but the hotel was clean, well maintained, and the staff were very helpful, cheery and upbeat. As hot breakfasts go in this category of hotel, it was fine - again, well cared for and attended to. Would definitely stay again.”

The room is large and spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and very helpful - plus the hotel itself is quite interesting to learn it's history and walk around viewing artifacts from the past. If you are staying in Amana, we highly recommend the Hotel Millwright, we wish all of our hotel stays were as nice as this one!!”

”This hotel has no staff on site. We stayed for two nights and received no housekeeping services at all. No exchange of towels, replenishment of supplies, the bed was unmade. Nothing. The furniture was beat-up. I would have expected 1/2 the price to stay there. I do not recommend it and I would never stay there myself again.”

”Hotel was worn out. Room had stains in carpet, and mattresses were squeaky. Wood surfaces in the elevator were worn and damaged. Overall the property just looks work out and needs an update.”

Actually, no cooking is allowed anywhere in the hotel. Even though the rooms offered have kitchenettes in the photos and we chose a room specifically for the kitchenette. And paid for, a room with a kitchenette. Was told there were no more rooms to offer and they were unable to return my money or discount my stay. They have a "strict policy...

We had a small dog and inquired about the pet fee. The night clerk couldn't tell us and said don't worry about it. In the morning as we were leaving the day manager was harassing my elderly parents while they sat in the lobby waiting for me to load the car. ”We did not end up staying at this hotel. We were booked into a handicapped room, which I specifically did not select and there was nothing else available. The hotel room that we were assigned smelled like stale urine and the toilet was broken. The public restroom next to the lobby was Out Of Order.
