The Space:

The Bath house is an independent dwelling. You enter through a pair of double French doors, stepping into a stunning and inviting room with high ceilings. The windows offer views of the picturesque garden, their curtains adding a touch of elegance, while the limestone floor adds a natural and refined feel to the space.



To one side of the room, you'll find the bedroom area and a compact kitchenette corner perfectly integrated into the layout: mini-fridge/microwave/coffee & tea making , basic dishes & cutlery ( no warm cooking facilities).

On the other side, the boutique bathroom area awaits.



The comfortable queen size bed has carefully chosen linen , mounted with a wooden carved bed head.



The self-standing bath with brass finishes adds undeniably to the elegance and character to the room, making it stand out as a distinctive feature.

Its presence is so significant that the room has earned the nickname "The Bath House."



To ensure a luxurious bath experience, we provide a renowned Badedas bath gelee for your pleasure.

Badedas is known for its high-quality and fragrant formulas, which can enhance your bathing experience and create a truly pampering sensation.



With all these exquisite elements combined, the boutique bathroom area becomes a haven of relaxation and style, offering a memorable escape from the outside world.

The lovely sound of the cordless mini Bose speaker can add to the experience.



Another noticeable feature of the room are the brass curtain rails and the carefully chosen light fittings, complete with dimmers that allow you to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion.



Stepping just outside your room, you'll find a charming garden patio that stretches along the entire length of your cottage. It's furnished with a set of two iron chairs and matching round table, creating a cosy and inviting spot. You will be is surrounded by an array of potted plants of various sizes, along with small trees, adding a touch of natural beauty to the setting.

It's the ideal outdoor space to relax, savor a hot drink, or enjoy a glass of wine.



As sunset approaches, the patio ceiling comes alive with strings of fairy lights . The enchanting effect created by the tiny lights is truly delightful, adding a touch of magic to your surroundings.



During the cooler months, it's advisable to bring some cover up clothing to ensure you keep warm while enjoying the patio atmosphere.



PROPERTY HISTORY:

The main house was built in 1892, and is now part of the classified heritage area of Waverton . It is now also made available for 6 guests maximum, totally separate from the back section. The property sits on a long narrow block with separate street access at either end. In 2018, two small independent dwellings were added at the rear in the same style of the main house. The middle one is now become "The Bath House." 🏡

The guests private access for The Bath House is via the back street : the Clifton street Head Reserve. (not the front address). The whole back section of our property will be for your exclusive use, which is around the charming garden patio full of pot plants and greenery.



Easy 24h self check-in via a electronic lock for your convenience.

Your access code will be sent to you the day before your arrival.



The entire rear section of the proprety will be all yours to enjoy.

Be mindful of the neighbours. Quiet time is as of 10pm



The Neighborhood:

Our quiet heritage area is a hidden green gem incredibly close to the CBD, yet we have kookaburras, parrots, blue tongue lizards, bush turkeys and possums. There are many small houses and tall trees on quiet hilly streets.



Centrally located close to Waverton train station (500m), which is only three stops from the CBD.



"The Bath House" 🏡 is also a short stroll away from stunning water views at Lavender Bay and Luna Park to the East, and the Coal Loader in Balls Head reserve on the West. There is also a charming harbour-side park called Sawmillers Reserve 700m away which is ideal for picnics.



You find cafes and buzzing restaurants around Waverton Station, along Blues Point road in McMahons Point and in Kirribilli/Milson's Point.



Getting Around:

By foot:

. Waverton train station is only 7 mins by foot (500m) partly via a pedestrian only reserve which has stunning views of the CBD at night.

- Kirribilli/Milson’s Point train station 2km

- North Sydney Train station 1.2km

- The domestic airport is approximately 45minutes from Waverton station with one change at Wynyard.



Beaches :

With around 70 surf beaches and dozens of harbour coves, Sydney is almost unrivalled in the world.

From The Bath House, you find close smaller inner harbour beaches around Berry Reserve and Greenwich Bath. Beautiful Balmoral beach is a 6.5km drive away. For famous ocean beaches, Manly Beach is a 13km drive, Bondi beach 14km

- Sat & Sunday : no limit and free

- Mon to Friday: 2Hour limit from 8:30am- 6pm. And there are also a few spots with no limit at all. We can guide you to them.



GUESTS: : 2 adults maximum.

CHILDREN : Not suitable for children or infants for safety reasons.

No PET policy .



If REDUCED MOBILITY: Apologies. Because of several garden stairs down and the stand alone sided bath to step into and get out of (higher sides). If you have reduced mobility capacity, for your own comfort and safety, we advise against booking. Thank you kindly for your understanding.

QUIET TIME:

Please keep noise level to a minimum between 9pm and 7am to ensure a peaceful environment for our neighbours.
