"The Cottage"

‘The Cottage’ is a rustic, light-filled self-contained studio in Leura. Enjoy a long soak in the claw foot bath, a comfortable Queen sized bed and a beautiful outlook onto garden, orchard trees and bushland.
The space
The Cottage is a rustic self-contained bush studio renovated with recycled materials. It's set back in the garden of a 1.4 acre property, overlooking bushland. Suitable for up to two guests, enjoy the light-filled living, a long soak in the claw foot tub (bath salts and local, organic soap provided). You can enjoy walks nearby (Minnihaha Falls is a 20min walk), bring a mountain bike to make use of nearby tracks, or just relax in privacy and peace. The Cottage is near to both Leura and Katoomba villages (a longer walk or very short drive) where there are ample dining options and local wares.
Other things to note
*Please note that during the Summer months of Dec, Jan & Feb, we do not provide firewood.

Basic cooking is via a Weber gas BBQ (outside), a microwave, a single electric induction hot plate, toaster and kettle.

All cutlery, bbq utensils, crockery, pots & pans are provided. As are olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, a variety of teas and coffee.

Heating is provided via an electric oil heater and/or a very effective slow combustion wood heater.

**Please note, there is no traditional shower in The Cottage. Bathing is provided via a large bath tub with a handheld shower-head**

We have a smart TV that allows for streaming via your hotspot, a DVD player, a selection of DVDs and a portable BOSE speaker for streaming music.

There is WIFI in The Cottage, but it can be slow and unreliable at times, as it's unfortunately a long way from the node on the street.
