”We loved everything about our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. Dayna and Joe have thought of and anticipated every possible need a guest might have while staying in this space. My only regret is that we did not have as much time to spend at the cottage as I would have liked. I hope I have reason to return to Sylacauga in the future so that we can stay here again!”

”The hostess was very easy to work with and the property was lovely. You can tell that they put a lot of work into remodeling it. It would be a great place to rent for a family or two that wants to enjoy the lake. There are three lovely bedrooms and then a bunk room for 4 kids or possibly more. Big island in the kitchen was awesome!”

”The house wasn't really ready for guest. The fridge was dirty and had opened food ( like cream cheese ) plus multiple containers with food on it.The fan on master was really dirty. The beds were no made right. We slept on top of the covers. Each bedroom had 1 or 2 windows, that didn't have any kind of privacy , no curtains , no blinds. My 14 years old was scared to sleep at night and people can see her from the side of the house. Wasn't any papers with WIFI info even though the house advertise...

”We loved our stay at Shepherd’s Retreat! We had a group of 6 women come to town for a girls’ weekend, and we had a GREAT time! The host was super responsive to all of our questions, the pool was so clean and relaxing, the kitchen was fully stocked, and we got to feed and pet the donkey and all of the sheep!We will keep it in mind for future weekend getaways! ”
