Elegant 41-square-meter apartment, accommodating up to four people, located on the first floor (NO elevator). The property is located in the heart of Ortigia, within the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), inside the historic Cortile Abela, 350 meters from the market and just 210 meters from the Temple of Apollo and the main street, Corso Giacomo Matteotti.

The apartment consists of a living room with a kitchen and a sofa bed, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

The interior layout is as follows:

- LIVING ROOM with KITCHENETTE featuring a cooktop (2 induction burners), refrigerator, moka pot, electric kettle, microwave, and various kitchen utensils; double sofa bed, flat-screen smart TV, and dining table;

- BEDROOM with a double bed, flat-screen smart TV, and open closet;

- BATHROOM with shower stall, sink, and toilet.



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning with heat pumps (split units in the kitchen and bedroom), washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothesline, and hair dryer.

ATTENTION: A video surveillance camera is installed in the building’s entrance hall, a common area. A sign indicates the presence of the camera.



The Talete paid parking lot is only 350 meters away.



Seven days before your arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of your stay, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights).

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the details to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests staying in Italy.

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating season and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Syracuse Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



Check-in will be via online self-check-in; and completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to retrieve the keys and gain access to the apartment.

Keys can be retrieved free of charge via the on-site keybox.

If you encounter any problems, telephone assistance will be available until 10:00 PM.



If you would prefer to have a member of our staff deliver the keys to the apartment, this is possible upon request for an additional fee of:

- From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM: 15.00 euros;

- From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: 25.00 euros.



The apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful island of Ortigia, on a central street just a short walk from the Temple of Apollo, one of the city’s most important monuments. In just a few minutes on foot, you can also reach the daily market—a traditional market brimming with local products and street food—where you can shop and savor local delicacies.

As you stroll through the island’s streets, you can admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, lively trattorias and cafés, as well as other monuments such as Maniace Castle, the Aretusa Fountain, and Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular squares in all of Sicily. In the summer, you can swim off the rocks or at some of the small beaches and sunbathing areas along the waterfront. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed year-round.

In the area, you’ll find many other amenities such as a bank, post office, convenience store, restaurants, bars, shops, and much more.

Sicily’s main destinations can be reached by Interbus from the central station (Via Rubino), where shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa Airport also depart (approximately 1-hour trip).



- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: You can reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS service, which connects Catania Airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse Station, less than a 20-minute walk from the property.

Alternatively, from the airport, you can reach the apartment by taking the Interbus to Syracuse Station.



- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: You can reach the apartment on foot in less than 20 minutes or by taking local buses.



- IF YOU’RE TRAVELING BY CAR: the nearest parking lot is 350 meters from the apartment and is called Talete. It is open 24 hours a day and offers affordable rates.

Alternatively, you can park for free just a short walk from the property (NOT guaranteed and NOT bookable) on Via Riva della Posta or in front of Piazza Cesare Battisti.
