”Only stayed as a couple but this place could easily accommodate a family! It was clean and beyond comfortable! Two great bathrooms and two comfortable sitting areas to watch TV. Quiet and private! Host left us cookies upon arrival, which were delicious by the way. And honestly, one of my favorite touches was her instruction not to clean upon leaving because we were on vacation. That was awesome! Thank you so much for having us!”

”We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum. ”

We got rained out on Friday and it was an all day stay on property day. ”My husband and I loved the cabin. It was very comfy and we appreciated all of the extras provided by the host! The outdoor space was wonderful. We enjoyed the firepit (and S'mores!), the trail to the pond, and wildlife watching. Thanks for the food for humans, deer, and birds - what a bonus :) We also enjoyed all of the Mothman memorabilia as well. I think maybe we spotted Mothman over at the edge of the woods one night at dusk! Thanks for a fantastic stay - we'd love to come back. ”

”We love the two separate cabins and enjoyed the fishing in the Ohio river. We even caught a catfish! We had everything we needed for our stay and the communication was great from the host. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 day. Watch out for the poison ivy on the bank but other than that, great stay!”

”This is such a cool place! Gave us a really relaxing place to stay in between our adventures of exploring Gallipolis and surrounding area. Point Pleasant, Mothman, the location is very convenient for exploring these things. And the decor is absolutely charming!”

”This property was huge in and out. We had more room inside than we needed and there were six of us. The outside fire pit and out building with a deck overlooking the river was a great spot for hanging out at night. The only issue we had was the upstairs toilet was not working at its best and the owner said it was most likely getting replaced. I will still give the property 5 stars because everything else was a plus and I would definitely rent again.”
