”This property is well located and is clean and of a good size. The staff were very friendly. We were three adults and they provided an additional bed that wasn’t set up properly and collapsed- luckily no one was hurt and we could put it up properly. We also paid additionally for a spa which stopped working and never heated properly despite having the staff look at it three times. The room comes with supplies for the first day with nothing extra for the additional adult. The towels don’t dry so...

”Horrible. Reservamos por la mañana habitación, realizando el pago y estando la reserva confirmada en dos emails por hoteles.com. Cuando llegamos por la tarde nos dijeron que no tenían sitio para nosotros. Que habían vendido nuestra habitación. Nos tocó buscar otro sitio por la zona de última hora y teniendo que pagar mucho más por la habitación. En el hotel ni se molestaron en ayudarnos o darnos alguna alternativa. Les dio exactamente igual que nos quedaramos tirados!!!! Experiencia...

”Difficile de les contacter pour savoir comment accéder à l’hôtel et surtout au parking. Donc pour ne pas prendre le risque on a du laisser la voiture sur un autre parking payant. Le numéro de téléphone était erroné sur le site de hôtel.com ainsi que les prix des taxes! Assez énervant de venir visiter une ville juste une journée et de perdre 2 h pour accéder au hôtel. Finalement tout cela était du au Hotels.com ! L’hôtel est très bien situé, petit déjeuner ok”

”A very good conditioned apartment with functional facilities. The property is very close to the train station and is also within walking distance to the island. It’s next to the main road where main shopping can be done; including a big supermarket inside a department store. We had a good stay in the apartment and Siracusa. Will recommend it to anyone.”

Llegado el día arrivamos a la casa y no se encontraba nadie. Intentamos dar con el propietario y después de un tiempo largo apareció. Nos dijo, desconcertado, que él no alquilaba su propiedad ni por estos medios ni en general hace ya 4 años aproximadamente. También dijo después de preguntarle, que no le había llegado...

”Situation in Ortigia in an area of narrow, interesting lanes full of restaurants and local businesses is fascinating. Very much an atmosphere of Sicilian Ortigia. Room was very clean and modern with aircon and good bathroom. Roof garden where breakfast is served is attractive but the breakfast itself is average. There is a car park quite close at the marina but it is very expensive. Satnav finding the loction was quite useless. Important to contact the owner before arrival.”

”Byssus Suites are situated in the port area of Siracusa in a completely renovated building which offers style, luxury and comfort. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and, along with a very comfortable bed, offered a private steam room which we loved. Breakfast was served in the building next door which is part of the hotel and also contains a fish shop and excellent restaurant.
