Spacious 46' Yacht: Luxury, kayaks, walk to town

Floating cozy and charming "Blue Goose" is located in the heart of Gig Harbor where all of the historic sites and restaurants are within a short walking distance. Rare boat at a rare historic net shed and dock. Use the provided kayaks to paddle around lovely Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Complete with two en suite staterooms, a cozy living room, and a view of sunsets and Mount Rainier! Sit on the upper deck for coffee/cocktails, bbq, watch activity.
The space
The beds are tight! They fit two folks but it’s tight. So plan to cuddle!
Guest access
The net shed, other docks and boats are not included with this rental.
Other things to note
Occasionally there will be events/celebrations in the net shed. Please feel free to walk through to access your boat. Know that we will comply with quiet hours at 10pm too. For safety, the propane oven has been disabled.

Additionally, the harbor pump out service services the septic tank on the boat weekly - it will not interfere with your stay as they only access the outside of the boat.

Perfect quirky stay

We loved sitting on the deck watching the activity in the harbor. Location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. As you’d expect, a boat stay has its quirks — all part of the charm.

I rented the Blue Goose for my sis to stay in for her 20th birthday! She loved it! Non registered guests are not allowed. Great communication with the host! The beds are comfortable! Everything was amazing! I love the quiet and chill vibe! Love the kayaks that are included! Enjoyed the free snacks! Very well equipped and welcoming! Thank you for hosting us! 😊

Very beautiful surrounding, boat was very comfortable and amenities were great. We were there on a Sunday night and it was calm and quiet. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

My husband and I (plus dog) stayed in the Blue Goose for one night to celebrate a belated birthday. The Blue Goose was just as described and was easy to find due to great instructions from Michelle.Everything was very clean and orderly. We had a nice complementary bottle of wine and other munchies to start our stay. The only downside to our stay involved my husband’s height and how this impacted his comfort. He’s 6’7” and the beds were too small for him. Getting in/ out of tight spaces there were also a challenge. This has nothing to do with the quality of the property, but is a fairly common issue for him. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the experience of seeing such a beautiful place. The property was very well cared for and I will spread the word to others. Thanks for the hospitality!

A really pleasant experience. Had a little trouble locating the address as we couldn't locate the address number. All of us are in our 80's so the tight interior tested our nimbleness. The rental was accurately represented.

This place was incredible! The right size for two of us (could come with a kid but that's probably it for people) and in the best location. VERY comfortable beds and it's nice to have 1.5 bathrooms. Overall...it was a 10! We will definitely be back.

We had a great time staying on the Blue Goose! The location was within walking distance to everything in the Harbor. The area was quiet and the boat was easily accessible. The wine, snacks, and board games were a nice treat which made for a perfect evening on the one night it was raining. On the night it was not raining we enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the harbor while the sun set. Absolutely beautiful! We used the kayaks to explore the harbor and saw many harbor seals and stopped at the lighthouse with the sandy beach. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of linens/blankets and supplies were provided. Communication was impeccable.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Pictures and description do not lie...everything was as advertized. It was a nice surprise to see Mt. Rainier off in the distance our last morning aboard. Very comfortable mattresses, pillows are soft and comfy, and plenty of blankets to keep you warm. Our water boiler for coffee tripped the circuit breaker both mornings. On the first morning we were able to reset the circuit breaker successfully...the second morning we weren't as successful. There are things to do the morning of check-out that we weren't originally aware of (take sheets off the bed, wash dishes, take out trash, etc.) We left the property before we got a message from the host with check-out instructions so we had to turn back and return to the property to check out properly. I would just recommend the host to send out check-out notes the night before instead of the morning of since we had to leave at the crack of dawn for an early flight. But anyone considering this property, don't think twice. It's fabulous and you won't regret it. If you do stay, be sure to read the book on the table...everything you need to know for your stay is in there.

Excellent and Comfortable

Our stay was wonderful. The boat is located in a great downtown location walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The boat itself was comfortable and clean. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms each with a bathroom. The common spaces were nice, clean and we had everything we needed. Communication with Michelle was clear. Overall it was a wonderful and quiet stay.

This was an incredible experience!! The location was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The kayaks were so much fun, we even had seals swim by! At night, it is very quiet and peaceful. They had the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on.
