The Pinnacle - Yhden makuuhuoneen ranta

Viehättävä järvenrantarakennus, joka rakennettiin vuonna 1903 poikien kuntosaliksi, ja se muutettiin 12 erilliseksi asuntoyksiköksi 1950-luvulla. Tämä yhden makuuhuoneen yksikkö sijaitsee 3. kerroksessa ja sieltä on upeat näkymät järvelle. Hissiä ei ole, portaiden kiipeäminen 3. kerrokseen on välttämätöntä.

Tämä oli alun perin poikien koulun kuntosali, nyt se on viehättävä 12 yksikön huoneistokompleksi, joka sijaitsee tilavalla järven rannalla, asuinalueella. Tämä on 3. kerroksessa, yhden makuuhuoneen yksikkö nukkuu 4, 1 kylpyhuone. 3. kerrokseen pääsemiseksi on tarpeen viedä portaat, hissiä ei ole. Yksikössä on olohuone, pieni keittiö ja ruokailutila. Olohuoneessa on sohva, joka muuttuu 2 yhden hengen makuutilaa tai yksi kuningatar. Tästä yksiköstä on upeat näkymät ja kaikki kodin mukavuudet. Täysin varustetussa keittiössä on kaasuliesi, leivänpaahdin, kahvinkeitin (kahvi, tee, kuuma suklaa) ja jääkaappi. Pannukakku-sekoitus ja perustarvikkeet (öljy, jotkut mausteet) toimitetaan avuksesi. 3. kerroksessa, aivan yksikön ulkopuolella, on pieni kansi, josta on upeat näkymät. Melontavene, kanootti ja kajakki toimitetaan käytettäväksi. Järvellä on paljon villieläimiä, se on avoinna kalastukseen kauden aikana. Voit ehkä nauttia ankkojen ja kotkien näkemisestä, kun nautit järvestä laiturilta.

Paikan päällä on kolikoilla toimiva pesula, kolikoita toimitetaan tarvittaessa. Pesulatarvikkeet toimitetaan yksikössä. Yhteisön grilli on myös käytettävissäsi. Järven rannalla on palo-kuoppa (puuta on ehkä ostettava, jos sitä ei ole saatavana), nautit rentoutumisesta sen äärellä, paistamalla kuumia koiria, tekemällä s'movereita. Yksityinen laituri (vain vieraille ja vuokralaisille) on sinun sinun nauttia järvestä rentoutumiseen ja uimiseen. Vieraat voivat tuoda veneen ja kiinnittyä satamaan lisämaksusta - järvellä on myös julkinen veneiden lasku. On Comcast langaton, joka on tarkoitettu vieraiden käyttöön.

Vierailla on pääsy laiturille ja järvelle. Käytössäsi on palo kuoppa, nurmkarituolit, bbq, melavene ja kanootti nauttiaksesi järvestä ja auringonlaskuista. Yksikkö on 3. kerroksessa, ei hissiä.

Tätä Lakefront-kiinteistöä ympäröivät kauniit kodit. Kiinteistö sijaitsee lähellä 1 hehtaaria. Se on hiljainen, mutta lähellä ravintoloita, ostosmahdollisuuksia ja elokuvateatteria. Se on kävelymatkan päässä Lakewood Towne Centeristä, josta löytyy ravintoloita, kahviloita, ruokakauppoja, elokuvateatteria ja ostosmahdollisuuksia. 5. 1 kilometri Chambers Bayn golfkentälle 1. 67 kilometriä Fort Steilacoom -puistoon (300 hehtaarin puisto). 7. 5 kilometriä Fort Lewisin / McChordin ilmavoimien tukikohtaan. 10. 8 km Tacoma Domeen, Amerikan automuseoon, Lasimuseoon ja Point Defiance -eläintarhaan. 30. 2 kilometriä Sea-Tacin lentokentälle 42. 2 kilometriä Seattle 53: een. 8 kilometriä Mt. Rainierin kansallispuisto

Pysäköinti on saatavilla. Äänirautatieasema ja metroasemat ovat lähellä. Auton saaminen on kuitenkin paras ja kätevin tapa matkustaa.

Lovely woodsy location. In the tree tops with view of the water. Clean and quiet. On the 3rd floor. Had a little difficulty with the shower but got it to work. An ice cube tray and newer tea kettle (with a sturdy handle) would be nice in the kitchen. It was well stocked however and coffee was good! Enjoyed our stay very much. ¹

Unit is larger than pictures show. Check-in was easy. Though the house is tired, this unit is clean and had everything we needed for our stay away from home. Landscaping, terraced yard and lake amenities were beautiful and peaceful.

The apartment was exactly as pictured. Eveything was great. I was in Lakewood to visit family. We took full advantage of the outdoor spaces including the grill and boat dock. The lake is beautiful and we had many great conversations while taking in the peaceful views.In the apartment, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure. Communication with the owner and property managers was easy and always came with quick responses. There was even a personal handwritten card to welcome me. I will stay here on my next visit.

Total gem!

My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Dekoven Inn! We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was for cooking, and the comfortable bed. The backyard has a lot of great hangout options, and the lake access was great. The highlight for us was the wonderful management team- when they found out we were staying there for our anniversary, they hand delivered a thoughtful gift to celebrate us! The couches weren’t the comfiest, but we had no problem relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Definitely recommend.

Lakewood Stay

Started our vacation here flying in to SeaTac. Convenient location, family neighborhood. Listing accurate, beautiful outdoor space on the lake with kayaks available. Outdoor grill was great to use. There was checkin issue and called on site person with quick response. Unfortunately, property had not been cleaned-we went for dinner and returned to a clean space.

What a fun experience! This was a quaint, comfy one bedroom with an excellent view. Parking was great, management was immediately responsive when we had questions/ needs, and our space was quiet and well stocked. What will keep us coming back is the park like, lake front yard. Thank you!

Great place to stay when in the area!

My son & I had a great time while visiting Lakewood! We were gone early most days, arriving back late at night. The space for the most part is great. Several things are within walking distance, including a grocery store, coffee, etc. The communication & check in/check out process was clear & concise. The eating area has a beautiful picture window facing the lake, so you can enjoy the view as you eat/drink coffee. The kitchen is nicely stocked-all the things you need to cook a basic meal, along with some seasonings. The living area provides adequate seating for up to 4-5 people (including a futon that turns into a bed), and a TV. The bedroom has adequate furniture, with a decent bed and a step-up/down bathroom. Basic necessities are provided including soap, shampoo & conditioner, plenty of towels, etc. The outdoor space is even better with access to the lake & water toys to use. The fire pit & seating area were a nice touch as well, even though we didn’t take advantage of them. A few things that could use improvements…The unit could be more thoroughly cleaned. Hair in bathroom, carpet on the stairway is quite dirty-maybe replacing it/having it professionally cleaned would be nice. Some blinds need replacing in the unit-very difficult to open/close them, A better internet connection would be nice. Internet not user-friendly for most of the time we were there. It is an older building so it has VERY creaky floors and no elevator, which was stated. Overall, a good value!

Family vacation

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. Its close to shopping and other activities. Clean, cute, perfect for our needs. We did have a problem with ants, but when we communicated this they were taken care of same day.

What a view

We had a bit of a problem getting into our apartment, the key box didn't work. There was a key under the rug. The view of the property on the outside was AMAZING, and we spent the first day and evening outside. When we went inside, we found that there were no additional bedding for the sofa bed. I did contact the manager a few times, and she did bring us the needed blankets, pillows, ect. The kitchen was well equipped, I would suggest coffee filters, and a towel or two to dry the dishes with, along with a sponge or dishcloth. Our bathroom was very nice, and the hair dryer was appreciated. TV was easy to run, nice having the two chairs in living room, along with the sofa. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Parking was great too. Thank you.

Good Stay

The location of this property was excellent for our needs. It is central to Lakewood and easy access to University Place, North End, and Steilacoom (without having to get on I-5). Lakewood Mall and Steilacoom Park are close by. I wish we could have made use of the lake and firepit, but it was not the right weather that weekend. The room itself was exactly like the pictures. It was a nice sized space and really perfect for 2 people.

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake from our apartment was very nice, as were the grounds. The apartment was very clean, though needing some fixes (some of the windows need cleaning, some of the blinds need replacement, bathroom fan doesn't work). Access to kayaks, canoes and standup boards is great. Ceiling fans helped keep the apartment reasonably comfortable. The property manager was helpful and responsive.

I feel like the ad could show better, how the unit !2 that I stayed in is on the top level of a small house style motel-ish location that has a very narrow stairway, that doesn't allow you to hold luggage to your side as you go up and down them. The steps are also short. There should also be mention that there isn't any elevator. Inside the unit there is a 10 inch tall step up into the bathroom as well. I stayed because they carried my luggage upstairs for me but there was no help on check out. I had a really hard time navigating back down and nearly fell because of how narrow the staircase is. All that said, I LOVED the space and WISHED that I was young and not struggling with a bad knee and dislocated wrist. I highly recommend sitting in the kitchen and enjoying the picture window view of bluebirds, frolicking along with other birds inside the branches of the mature mossy tree branches. I had to free some Ladybugs, which I found sweet and as if a blessing. I wish I could have given a 5 star... but I stayed for 4 days and there was a Q-tip on the stars and other trash on the stairs... Perhaps a bit more care in the common area.

Cute and Sweet

We stayed here for a business convention in town. The rate was exactly what we were looking for and I feel that we got more for the price. Very easy check in. I wish we had more time to walk around and enjoy the dock, fire pit, and the lake. We were at the Tacoma Dome all weekend and didn’t have time to enjoy the facilities. It was about a 20 minute drive to the Dome due to traffic so it was very manageable. Very comfortable stay and nice amenities. I hope to stay again when we have more time to enjoy the lake.
