”The staff was very helpful and very accommodating; super easy check in process. Be warned that not all of the rooms have historic charm. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for ladies who want to see themselves to apply makeup. If you don't expect all the comforts of a normal hotel, you won't be disappointed (bath mat, multiple bedside table lamps, etc.). Great location to our favorite "sleepy" side of the quarter.”

”Was very impressed with the staff & enjoyed my interactions with Tequila at the front desk. Very hospitable & when my ac unit seemed to not be working, she promptly put me into another room. Maintenance was quick to come and realized the ac was in fact working. Room was very comfortable & the bathroom was roomy & updated. Would definitely stay here again.”

”The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury.”

”Everything was good with the hotel stay, but still waiting on the receipt that was supposedly going to be emailed to us upon checking out this morning. Had to wait on a person at the Valet counter for about fifteen minutes last night then was told to text them this morning so they could have the vehicle ready. The app wasn’t working at all.”

”This beautiful hotel was absolutely the best hotel we've ever been to. Will certainly wanna go back to spend another vacation there. We were able to see all the rooms and were able to choose which one we want to stay. Each room were different and we found it very difficult to choose the one we wanted as they all were so lovely, so nicely decorated. Beds were very very good. In the lobby, there was coffee, tea, muffins, cookie etc and if you wanted to have a special coffee (espresso, cappucino...

”This was the most dirty, unsafe hotel. I took one look around and immediately booked a hotel at another location—The Royal Sonesta (a fabulous, clean, safe hotel on Bourbon Street). However, this raggedy hotel refused to refund my money. I know their harsh nonrefundable policy is only because they know travelers who are unfamiliar with the location will be forced to stay in this location upon arrival despite its unsafe and decrepit exterior.
