”Very clean bed sheet, blanket, floor, bathroom and shower. Staff were very polite, helpful and nice. Air condition and heater working fine. The room door had little opening at the bottom where the ants got in during the day and night. No table and chair which made us sit on the bed all the time. No rack for placing luggage therefore we had to place our luggage on the floor. No continental breakfast and coffee machine in the room. Not much channel variety on TV. Old movies and not easy to operate...

”The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better.”

”This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.”

”The unit is renovated, with modern appliances, and bathroom, the bedding is confortable ans overall we really enjoyed our stay there! The location is perfect, 5 min walk to the Gondola and near the shops and restaurants while being just away from the noise.”

”Very nice hotel with the basics. Clean rooms, friendly staff, not many amenities. Sheets were scratchy but not unusable. The disappointment was the breakfast. You had a choice between yogurt, oatmeal, a sandwich or a breakfast burrito served with a side of what you can tell were frozen tater tots. I’d say skip the breakfast and come for the scenery. The location is beautiful and the price is very reasonable. ”

”The property itself is gorgeous but the real bonus is the amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable mattress, quiet in the evening, Dry Sauna very enjoyable, on-site restaurant a bit pricy but delicious food and great wine list. Easy access to historic downtown Truckee and on the route for TART (free transportation for the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee area) Only "downside" was that the WiFi in the room was slow, so using streaming services on the TV was difficult. But that actually helped us...

”We would definitely stay here again! We were there for a family get-together and it is a very nice property. Good fresh breakfast served daily and lots to choose from. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is very convenient...it's right in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe and just minutes from downtown Truckee! We didn't go into the pool but used the Hot Tub almost every day - big and...

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”
