”Large generous rooms with excellent views. Loved the small public onsen bath, which were free to use for guests. Location was a bit out of the way and perhaps would be difficult to access without a car, but we had relatives living nearby to drive us. But this would be a plus if seclusion is what you seek. The breakfast buffet was delicious too, though it did get very crowded if you don't go early.”

”Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the hot spring every day. A highlight was being allowed to use the hot spring even after checkout — it was a lovely touch to freshen up before heading to the airport.
One small suggestion: when we first entered the room, it wasn't immediately clear how to turn on the lights. We had to use our phone flashlight (so dark) to discover that the key card needed to be inserted into a slot to activate them. A small sign or note near the door would...

”I had a great stay at the Hotel Royal Beitou. The hotel is a short walk from the metro, the property is well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly.
It's an easy walk to Beitou Park, and in the evening I enjoyed relaxing in a comfortable and clean room with my personal soaking tub with hot natural spring water.
I will book again when returning to Beitou!”
