”Super helpful and friendly staff gave us good information about the surrounding area. You could make coffee/tea whenever and there was a shared fridge, microwave etc. You could also take a bath in a traditional japanese hot spring bath which was amazing! We had a japanese style room which was so cute but the futon bed was a bit uncomfortable for us. Would definitely stay here again!”

”Room was nice, service friendly ja breakfast good. Onsen experience was also great , there was clean and very hot bath. We were sad and sorry about my daughters Muumi T - shirt disappeared while we were oitside. Room was clined that time . We complained reseption about that . We hope they find skirt and send it back”

”It was a great experience staying in a traditional ryokan, visit an onsen (public bath) and use a yukata (Japanese robe). Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. A futon mattress would have made the experience even better, but the down duvet was wonderful.”

”This may be my all time favorite of all the hotels I’ve stayed at! It’s maybe not for everyone but it oozes history and it felt like stepping back in time. The staff is really wonderful and were amazing. The beds super comfortable and the room had an amazing view of the river and mountains. If you’re a nostalgist like me you won’t be disappointed. ”

”I really love this hotel! The staff were kind and lovely, even though I’m not very good at communication. I stayed in Room 406, which had a window and a door leading out to the balcony — I absolutely loved it! There’s a Family Mart right across from the hotel, and it’s not far to walk from the train station. It was also very convenient to walk to the large supermarket in town. If I ever come back to Nikko, I will definitely stay here again.”

Tem que observar que os restaurantes da cidade fecham cedo (pelo menos durante a semana) e o transporte público também para de funcionar cedo. O restaurante do hotel funciona para café da manhã e só. Num dis chuvoso, que voltamos cedo para o hotel, dormimos com fome, porque o hotel não disponibiliza nada para comer e, não...

”Majoitus oli pettymys. Henkilökunta osasi erinomaisesti englantia, mutta palvelusta jäi silti kovin epämääräinen kuva. Huone oli pintapuolisesti siisti mutta tunkkainen, vessanpönttö vuotava ja lorisi jatkuvasti. Aamiainen oli todella huono. Osa ruokalajeista (pekoni, makkarat) olivat jääkaappikylmiä, näiden vierellä oli syömäkelvotonta makaronisalaattia, huoneenlämpöinen riisipallo ja pieni munakas. Aamiaisessa ei ollut mitään japanilaista muistuttavaakaan En pääsääntöisesti kritisoi...
