”It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it”

”The most the creakiest floors throughout the hotel. Constant creaking on every step does not add comfort. The staff was more pleased with Swedish-speaking guests and other customers received significantly less attention. Breakfast was really simple. The best thing in Ski Lodge is it´s location.”

”I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time.”

Our room is on the 3rd floor of a wooden old building that can be best described as a huge fire hazard with no alternative exit, but that is not where the bad ends. ”Absolutely loved this hotel, check in was super easy as is all automatic and we arrived late. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice and beautifully laid out.
