We had an amazing stay at Wyndham Tamarindo – the hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service from the staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed the overall vibe of the place.
However, our experience at the on-site restaurant, Caviar, was extremely disappointing. We waited over an hour and a half for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and poorly cooked. The meat wasn’t prepared properly, and the entire dining experience left a bad taste in our mouths – literally and figuratively.
I highly recommend the hotel, but I suggest eating elsewhere in town if you're looking for a good meal.
